Why get yourself in trouble with all those witnesses? If you know who did it and want to get it handled (outside the law), just wait til no ones around and punch the suspect in the face and go from there. If that's how you want to get "satisfaction" then have at it. Never understood why folks start fights around so many people who will either stop the fight or serve as a witness.
 



I could see if he wasn't nationally known but this kid has to realize that now for the rest of his life he has to be careful because every time he messes up it will be news. No matter how minor it is.

One thing I've learned is that if somebody reeeaaallly wants to ruin you they don't mind taking an ass whooping to laugh at you behind bars.

Sounds like my cousin's nemesis (sp). Got his ass beat so bad he was in a coma but then my cousin ended up in prison. It was technically for something else but it was related.

Hebron's not a "gangsta" school in the least so I really don't understand how or why he'd take that matter into his own hands. It's one thing if he had to defend himself but it's another to become the aggressor and not the victim anymore. :read:

This kid has a label on his head and I sincerely wish(ed) that he'd try to maintain being anonymous as much as possible. Make your "little" friends but leave that sh*t @ the school campus. :| Even if that meant not driving the vehicle to school and riding the bus. :read: You do what you <b>have</b> to do to make it peaeably. :read: But, in the back of my mind and knowing how out of control and how unintelligent quite a few of today's kids are, I'm almost willing to bet that somehow he became the center of attention. I didn't think too highly of Michael Bell initially and after learning that he indeed WAS arrested WHILE ON HOUSE ARREST after being freed and being SEEN in the local Walmart by the VERY judge who'd sentenced him to house arrest certainly didn't bolster his image in my eyes (I learned about it the day AFTER it occurred - w/in 24 hours :read: ). :retard: Now, what does that say about that kid's nature? lol Better yet, what does it say about the nature of those who travelled 15-23 hrs by bus to support that guy? lol Inexcusable. Of course, there were quite a few other interesting past tidbits about his nature that were deemed very negative that I took into account as well. There was no *F*'n way I was going to support anything to do w/ that guy and to me in my mind, he made everyone who donned black and supported him on that day last year look....stupid. So, to those that did support that young man, wear your badge w/ much honor as you truly deserve it. I don't support bullsh*t and certainly wasn't reared in bullsh*t. Maybe some of you were and if so, may God continue to abundantly bless you and your bullsh*tty nature. :)

Good one. Yeah, looks like the members of the Jena 6 are slowly but surely showing us that we were indeed foolish to support them.

My viewpoint: After it's all said and done, you can go gangster/thug/hood etc whenever you deem that someone has done something you don't like, therefore you should work on your tongue skills as you will most likely be somewhere tossing salad for LeRoy. Work within the law, folks.
 
Why is there so much glorification of hood? Just because someone is so off-balanced they can't understand the value of human life? Will take you out like they smash a bug? What's so GREAT about that lifestyle that even the "educated" amongst the masses are "propping" it?

The same reason folks can't think out of the box and realize that most people who spin topics on this page really don't care one way or the other. Let's be honest what person in their right mind really supports that kind of life style. Grandma might not have had a formal education but she shole was correct when she said common really isn't common. That isn't a personal attack on any one it's general!!!!!!

I'm not trying to point fingers too much because lawd knows I have 3 coming back right @ me but I can't help but note his and the others' human nature. If this kid had troubled past and gotten out of trouble and KNEW wholeheartedly that the entire populous of black folx came all that way to support HIM and ther others, why wouldn't he do his DAMNEST to do what is "right." If that meant gott damned getting beat across the skull (but do defend yourself), then dammit so be it! If that meant losing some "perk" all in the name of YOU doing and appearing and BEING right, then dammit so be it! There's tooooooooo many past cases where we people of color have gotten worse. WTF is the deal w/ a vandalized car? Hell, I could've taken him to the exact spot in south dallas where a black man was hanged and THEN burned w/ white people smiling whilst posing for a pic. That type stuff really irritates me knowing I tread that EXACT SAME ground where forefathers and foremothers DIED and were SEVERELY BEATEN just for me to have this right so I owe it to them. Not myself. :| That kid is very selfish. :|

He (and others) really didn't owe it to himself to do/be right. He owed it to the rest of the people who sacrificed by coming all that way and supported him and TRIED to help him! It's THOSE that I feel most sorry for right now. Not selfish him. :|
