don't you think all of this is just a tad too convenient??? C'mon, man....I don't think there's ever been an AD that's done the type of scorched earth campaign in as short a time as Cosby did with this investigation.

lemme ask you this; If JSU turned around next seasonand picked this guy up as AD, what would you do???
 
This kinda makes me wonder did this dude ever intend to stay at ASU, or did he just come in to wreak havoc. I mean...it seems a little too convenient that he just up and leaves now and has his job back at Stillman.

Why is it soooooo different now as opposed to then? I mean dayumn, nobody from JSU posted the Dedrick Bell "absentee" article, now the Mafia is ghost on this all of a sudden???

This dose not mean jack. As far as I'm concerned, dude did his job, turned tha findings over to tha NCAA, and got off another Titanic that COLDBLOODIED COLE has created.

But again, "It's not his fault", and now after being called out 2 times, it's going to be JSU posters piling on. Why didn't you do this before now. We basically quit posting on this subject because of the crying...... and this happened before tha no-show.

You all didn't like the guy and now he's gone. Other than that this turn of events does't mean a thing as far the investigation and the related consequences to ASU's program is concerned.

I don't know why he's leaving but have you ever changed jobs and after 4 or 5 months say to yourself: self, what the H'' have I gotten myself into. The guy probably realized that he had stepped into a hornet's nest (no pun intended). And unlike most similar situations, he had an out. But I truly hope that he had the decency to resolve the eligibility of those kids that he had declared ineligible.

I disagree.
Surely, now the NCAA will take a closer look at information that would refute this "investigation" by cosby, considering the manner of the investigation, and the current coach's contentions that this was a "witch hunt".

Whether you like Cole or not, if you think about the way and timing of this resignation, you would definitely give more thought to that this was indeed a witch hunt.
Especially if you have information, documents that refute some claims.

You're right I believe that the NCAA will take a look at all the evidence including the evidence refuting the charges, but I would hope that was going to happen anyway, whether Cosby resigned or not.

For what we know so far, the person that I would get excited about leaving would be the compliance officer, or better yet the NON-compliance officer.

Surely, it'll be much easier for the NCAA to actually investigate other information not included in cosby's report, when cosby aint there in the way telling the NCAA that the program "is totally out of control".

Hopefully, that will be soon too, but that doesn't stop me from being glad that cosby has left.
No doubt, he'll probably have a boat load of stuff to say in the short term, but I'm glad he won't be officially a part of ASU now (based on his actions and words to the media, he has acted as if he was never part of ASU)

As I said before, i don't know of any AD that's been this detrimental to a program in this short of a time period. If the NCAA comes in and finds inpropriety within the program, I'll be with the rest of the Bama State patrons that frequent this site to call for L.C. to roll.

Right now, the only thing anybody has to go on outside of an oficial NCAA inquiry is hearsay and innuendo. That's what had all of the Bama State alumni up in arms as this thing drew out.
