Cordell Broadus will not play football for the UCLA Bruins

I'll willing to bet he lost interest when he realized that he would not be getting much playing time this year...use to being the star and getting his way I'm sure!

Wrong.
he was to be battling for a starting position this year at WR. He just got other options besides getting his body broke up for a paycheck.

Dude just didnt want to play football anymore.

The higher you rise in sports, the less fun it is to play. Being a football player for a Power 5 conference is like playing for the NFL without the pay. The demands, expectations, wear and tear on your body...for some kids it's not worth it. He probably realized he wouldn't have much fun playing for UCLA and went the other way.

I could tell from watching the Snoop and Son show that the Passion for football was not there for him. I am glad he stepped up as a young man to make a tough decision that initially, probably disappointed his father. Because we all know that football was his father's dream.

Former UCLA signee Cordell Broadus wished his dad, Snoop Dogg, a happy birthday Tuesday via Instagram and said he started playing football for his father's love.

Broadus, a four-star recruit in the class of 2015, left the team before the season began.

I played football for my father because I thought that was the only way he would love me & be apart of my life. It took me 12 years to realize he loves Cordell Broadus the person not Cordell Broadus the football player. The best day of my life was when I heard those exact words; I love you dad hope you have a great birthday

UCLA said Broadus was leaving the team in August to "pursue other passions in life." He had not reported to UCLA's fall camp.

It was obvious as hell from the jump that Cordell was doing it more for Snoop than anything. So many kids do things they don't necessarily like to gain a parent's approval. You can tell Snoop loves his children, but it was also obvious Snoop was super-intense about football.

I'm just glad that ultimately Snoop has his son's back and Cordell realizes that Snoop loves him as a person, because we've seen parents fall out with their children over things like this.

Now this is something truly funny considering...February 7th, 2013 ANYONE!
Surely you know the state didn't have to do that, it was strictly symbolic and ceremonial. Federal law supersedes state law regardless I.e... "The 13th amendment." But a smart person like you already knew that correct?
