You mean bugler-corpstyle contra basses? I could see PV with contra basses and possibly Valley and (though a long shot) Bama state. But that's only stylistically. I don't really see contra basses as matching our marching styles with sway and accent for some bands. Musically I think they would be great for songs requiring heavier chord structure though. If I was a BD I'd be quick to arrange in four part harmony for the bones and two part for the sousas if we had contra basses....but if I was a BD I would be doing that anyway.
