I just arrived home from Birmingham and would like to get this off my chest while it is fresh. Although I am completely shocked we lost this game......I salute you. No smack tonight.

Our performance at the Turkey Day Classic and this years SCG were so similar it was FRIGHTENING. Those who attended both games can attest to this. Man....I thought I was in the TWILIGHT ZONE or something.

Same total domination into the third quarter....same number of turnovers from failing to protect the ball....same change of momentum.....and ultimately the same outcome after a seemingly certain win.

I would like to offer my congratulations to GSU on a hard fought and exciting Swac Championship Game.

You did what a championship team should have done. You capitalized on costly Hornet turnovers and REFUSED TO LOSE.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE CHAMPIONS.

Im gonna have several drinks and go to bed now. it was ours. :( :( :( :( :(

No, Im not riding gonads or jumpin on your bandwagon. But there was something more important in your winning today than just scoreboard.
That was having a champion with some tradition and no loss to a Division II team 3 years going.

Just look at the ACC now...Florida State has Kicked arse for years and now everybody want's to knock them when they are down.
I mean, Maryland...Come on; next year they will go back to gettin beat by 40pts a game. When Kennedy gets picked up by the Frankfurt Galaxy as a backup QB they will be back to the same old BAMA JELLY, except they will lose to Tuskeegee by 20 pts. next year.

What some of these Generation Xers don't understand is tradition. Which is why I respect Grambling as a SWAC champion to a certain degree because their, as well as our long term fans know their were stints when we kicked their arses and they kicked our arses. These same BEEitches used to get dragged through the Mud too many years to count. I just love to hear them say...that was then...But what they did'nt realize is that tradition trumps the proverbial upstart. So all you BEEitches!!!!
