Are there any all SWAC players other than Body, with eligibility staying with their current team?

I think he may been referring to the signees to the SWAC but its not just the SWAC. This is an FCS problem and Group of 5 issue too.

Yeah but there is a BIGGER problem when you got those bigger schools getting guys from bad teams.

This guy played on a 2-10 team. He is now going to a 10-3 in one of the toughest divisions in Football.

It smelled fishy to me that OU would bother with players from teams that bad but then Prince played with the OU QB at Little Elm High School.

So that explains him.

Now to the point the SWAC being used as JUCO league. What can they do to try to stop that? That is an issue for the NCAA not the SWAC or any school. Because they created this monster.

Because something will have to be done sooner or later. Because MONEY is going to get funny for everyone. I mean if you are ESPN why would you pay for broadcast rights to certain conferences when you don't who is going to be on the rosters from year to year. You can low ball those leagues. Since it's open for any league to get top players.

That's why we have SWACTV. We're only getting 5-6 football games on TV each year anyway so it's not like ESPN is backing up the Brinks truck for us anyway.

As far as the Valley transfer, he was a legit shutdown corner at 6'3 so even if he's just depth at OU, it's still a good luck. The former UAPB WR who led the SWAC in 2024 finished the season strong at OU so somebody at OU is familiar with the SWAC

Allegedly grades. Wasn't even on their roster last year

Should have never left UAPB
Yes sir. I recall him being academically ineligible just prior to the start of the season but did he not stay and right himself academically? Did he transfer elsewhere? What happened to him? Dude was definitely all-world, imho.

I thought I heard somewhere that he might be back this year. I guess not, considering we thought it necessary to recruit another one or two.
