Well, EB, I hate to tell you this, but, Auburn and LSU fans like Kavanaugh too. It is my opinion, that they may wear different colors and root for different teams on Saturdays during the football season, but that is about all they differ on.

You are right. I know a little about LSU after living in Baton Rouge. A lot of Louisiana east of the Mississippi River, the Florida Parishes, can be very conservative.

Auburn, not the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa, was rated as having the most conservative student body. A few years they even beat Texas A&M, which has a very conservative student body. The result surprised me.

I have seldom rooted for Ohio State. If Alabama plays Georgia, I will go for the Tide. If it is Alabama and Ohio State, I may (weakly) go for the Tide though my respect for Woody Hayes, whom I once hated, has grown over the years.
