I'm glad they opened it up and awarded teams that outright won their conference rather than fan favorites. Thank God Alabama is sitting at the house.
Nick is gone
All the Bama fans walking around talking about no one is going to watch it because Bama isn't in it and the ratings will be down. I tell them yes we will. Most will watch it now just because Bama isn't in it. lol

Rattler Roy Wood gives his thoughts.

I will let those from Alabama talk about Cullman. I did not know about the town until after I traveled on I-65 between Birmingham to Huntsville and past Nashville. I have been through a few of those towns: Harrison, Arkansas on the by-pass decades ago, Forsyth County, Georgia, which now has Black residents, and Dawson County, Georgia, where Whites said was worse than Forsyth County.

I am very comfortable with Alabama not being in the playoff.

The committee made the right decision. The Bama fans that I know agree with the decision. You can't lose 2 games that should have been easy victories and expect to be respected enough to get into the playoffs with an SMU teams that has played good football consistently throughout the year, even though the ACC is being shady with the money.

I'm a Ducks fan so I'm glad to see them at the top. Hope we get to play against Tennessee and Texas just to show we can compete with the SEC. In the bottom part of the bracket I will be pulling for Boise State.

FCS playoffs:

Montana state -52
Idaho- 19

N Dakota state-31
Mercer-7

S Dakota state-55
Incarnate-14

S Dakota-35
UC Davis-21

They claim HBCU'S don't want to compete , but appears no one is competing outside 3 or 4 Flagship Universities from the same conference.

I literally said this in the other thread about not comparing our schools to these same schools with NO FBS schools

And low and behold, here we are again

That's why schools like Jax State, Kennesaw and SHSU are jumping to FBS

Ugly first half for SMU…..looking at this game what really stands out is how much QB decision making can make or break a team.
