Remember Saban would not get a month and half to prepare either. The playoffs will not allow that. Maybe for the first game. But the championship. Nope.

I understand that JR. But I don't think it would have been needed. If you recall, Bama really outplayed Auburn in that game, they just couldn't kick a field goal (as usual) lol. Most people have forgotten that Bama had a seven point lead, and the ball deep in Auburn territory with under five minutes to play. They missed a short field goal that would have given them a 10 point lead with time running short. Auburn gets the ball, and goes down field and gets a TD on a busted coverage by Bama (when the Auburn QB threw the ball after crossing the line of scrimmage, but it wasn't called). With all of that, Bama still had a chance to win it at the end . . . but we all know what happened. Bottom line, is that Auburn didn't whip Bama the way a lot of folks want to make it out to be after the fact. And there's not doubt in my mind that Bama would have won a re-match by three touchdowns . . . but we'll never know . . .
 
Auburn was just smarter and a better coached team than Bama last year. All of these excuses are for the birds. :smh: :lol: :emlaugh: Then Bama got mauled by Chokelahoma...wtf? :lol: :emlaugh:
 
Man, you Alabama, LSU and Florida fans are the most irrational group of fans I have ever encountered.

Hey, I had to defend ole Stump. Lol. He ain't that desperate.

Now poor Mrs. Saban. She looks old. Nick would have went to Austin and he would have dismissed her. She can keep an eye on him in Tuscaloosa.
