His unimpressive resume will need some new magic tricks as Rutgers is in the Big Ten now.
Well from 2005 thru 2011 he had a winning season and bowl invites for all but 1 season and was a catapult for them getting a invite to the Big10 the following season.

I hear ya Fiyah, but it hasn’t been magic bro. In that span, his weak HBCU scheduling saved overall record and made those 7-9 win seasons look pretty weak.
We will see how he fares in the Big Ten after a bunch of “Dandelion Bowl” trips I’m the Big East. I don’t think he survives 5 years.

As much as I don't care for MSU, I wish ol Lane would have been available because he would be a good fit over there. Don't think they will let Hughes get the job so it will be someone that can get the most of 3-4 stars like Mullen did

That is the exact same thing I first thought. But then I thought, well, maybe Strong does not want to be a head coach again. Him and those other four ex-head coaches on that staff (Butch Jones, Mike Stoops, Kyle Flood, Steve Sarkisian). Maybe, they are all thinking, fuckit, head coaching ain't worth the stress. LOL!!
