Some people will make a argument out of anything just to do it.
Come on Fiyah, it's the "down" part of the year so we have to talk about something, even if it boils down to a tight ends coach and Kaepernick.:emlaugh:

Experience!
Btw... our OC has been a head college coach, high school coach, assistant head coach at university of Cincinnati. ..and OC at two other universities. He has been coaching football longer than Chang been living.... BTW he wasa grad assistant at Michigan... so we will say he called plays there too lol
for the record no one from a&m said we were your rival
Skegee and ASU yes...JSU no

Too much trolling if you ask me. There used to be an ignore poster feature. Does it still work?Might as well change it to Train Trolling. lol
if a Grad assistant can get credit for an NFL qb then a tight ends coach can be responsible for a qb.
This is exactly where the trolling started

ASU didn't play well, Missed 3 FGs. The final score was 31-7. :scared:
If that's "every chance to beat" us, then congrats.
This post shows that you don't know football but many have overlooked it. Majority of what you posted is more about the assistant coaches and the head coach personal accomplishments and not their coaching resume with the exception of a couple. The only one that really has done something is Chang but lets be real JSU doesn't have the horses he had at Hawaii. Lets be real. Just because someone coaches in professional leagues doesn't mean they will be successful on the collegiate level. Look at Stump, he didn't do anything at SU, it took Doug years to win, he did nothing at Morehouse but his first stint at Grambling he was very successful because he had the right people around him but his second stint he just selected anyone for the most part and look at the results he got, the only proven one is Chang, the head coach has a losing coaching record, you may get sensitive over my statements but just being real. Post what your coach and his staff have done as far as coaching on the college level and the records of the teams then you will see a little bit more of the picture. JSU doesn't have the caliber of players these folks had in professional leagues and Hawaii.
That's not accurate by a longshot. Coaching records don't always tell the story. Look at Comegy. He went 0-11 at Central State before he got to Tuskegee.
It's because he didn't have the resources to work with while he was at Central State.
On the flip side, look at what Doug did at Grambling. He left with a winning record but when he came back, he lost miserably eventhough he had the same financial resources to work with.
AAMU has never been a football powerhouse so it's against all odds that this Spady guy will make them one. Nobody knows until we actually see it.
What I'm saying is, usually when a school has a history of consistently winning, they'll continue winning.
I look for Grambling to eventually right it's ship because of their long history of winning.
JSU coaches have both the resources and players to win, so they'll be competitive, but AAMU is still a huge question mark.
I base this on their history, their resources and the caliber of players they've recruited in the past.
It's not all about one's past coaching record at a certain school but it's more about the resources and caliber of players one has at his current school.
Since AAMU has competed in the SWAC...
JSU 1 SCG
Bama State 1 SCG
AAMU 1 SCG
I know you will hate to admit it. You can call it B.S. if you want. But the "truth" as Tigerpride put it, JSU these days is no better than anyone else.
Post the entire story dude. You exclude the fact that in head to head matchups over the last seven years, JSU is 6-1 over AAMU.
JSU has won the East division title four times in eight years.
JSU has had the best SWAC record over the past six years.
Fact of the matter is over the last six years, JSU has been more consistent and competitive than any school in the SWAC.
Of course Comegy should've won more titles while coach, but he did keep an overall consistent product on the field. With a few calls here and there, JSU could easily have three or four SWAC titles.
I'd at the least would rather have a chance to win titles than none at all.
You used to be an Eastern Division rival. It's just that you don't have any fans so the term rival carries little weight vs you all.
they hired a 69 yr old Head Coach who no one wanted and expect people to forget
TP so now you saying we USED to be your eastern division rival? when did this happen???
like I said if you aint Skegee or Bama State you not A&M rival...and since you wanna bring some "fans" into it our fans get up for TU and ASU everytime we play
So you admit your fans only get up for two games out of 11? Hmmm, interesting admittance.
