The man was not appreciated. I felt bad for him because his son died not long after he was let go as HC. You reap what you sow.

I would not say he wasn't appreciated. He got complacent and arrogant, he would not hire an OC or make other coaching changes and did not reach out to local recruits. Being a college football head coach and getting to office around lunch after playing golf all morning is not leadership. Yes, he had some success at AAMU but he had the potential to have had multiple championships. I heard he is back here (Huntsville) looking for a job.
