Reporter: Coach Jackson I know this is a hard topic to discuss but how are you feeling right now?
OMJ: Reporter let's cut through the shit. You can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit!!
Reporter: Please explain....
OMJ: JSU is my alma mater....I loves me some JSU...lord knows I do but these ni$$as wanted me to do the impossible.
Reporter: Impossible as in what.
OMJ: You know.
Reporter: No I don't.
OMJ: Beat Grambling and Southern before the month of October.
Reporter: I see. Well given that Memorial is GSU's home away from home and you traveled to SU it seems the JSU administration set you up for failure.
OMJ: Who knows but I know they gave me a post dated check yesterday and told me not to deposit it until January 1st of next year.
Reporter: In our closing interview coach is there anything you would like to add.
OMJ: Yes as a matter of fact I would..... Jackson Fairrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, Jackson Dearrrrrrrrrrrrrr...Thee I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee, My dear ole college homeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Theeeeeeeeeeeeeee I loveeeeeeeeeeee, Where ever I may roammmmmmmmmmmmmm, Jackson Fairrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, Jackson Dearrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....Hail, Hail to Theerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....Yes, Hail to Theerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...Hail to the college of my hearttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!
Reporter: What fitting tribute to the end of an era at Jackson State University. Recapping Coach Harold Jackson was fired on yesterday afternoon after a rocky season start. Many speculating that if he lost to GSU on Saturday that his job would be in jeopardy. Some even felt that after the loss to Southern that he should have been removed. Others felt that he should have never been hired but interestingly when he was hired these same individuals cheered during his press conference noting Coach Jackson's accomplishments as a player and coach. Again, JSU on yesterday fired one of their own. Some coaches being looked at include Doug Williams, Pete Richardson, Les Miles, Charlie Strong, Bob Stoops, Jim Harbough, Urban Meyer, and Nick Saban. In a final thought, will this be a return to the Bell Years? Only time will tell.
