Coach Eddie Robinson....

The most interesting thing about Eddie's personal life are the convincing accusations of extramarital affairs and his lust for Grambling coeds. I was talking to a Grambling alum last year that insinuated she (and other women) had an affair with Eddie and he was her sugar daddy. She also shared some very interesting pictures that had me scratching my head, especially for a married man with children and a high profile job.
What does this have to do with anything? Who said the man was perfect? This man is dead and gone, yet you want to bring THIS up, with no supporting evidence?!
Even if he did have extramarital affairs, did he rape anyone or drug anyone or commit any crimes against these women? Was the sex between grown folks consensual?
If no crimes were committed, why bring this up?
Sheesh!!

THANK YOU!!!

WTF did that have to do with anything?

Sorriest Piece Of Shit Comment I've ever seen on this Message Board!!!!

Why in The Fuck would anyone bring up some shit like that on a Post like this. WTF is the point? It's not interesting at all. It's Messy Shit! Smdh!
Can you tell us all how you really feel?

I don't know you personally, have never met you before in my life, but if this what you find to be "the most interesting thing about" the GREATEST college head football coach of all time, it gives me a little insight about you. While this is a public forum and many opinions, statements, views are shared here, each forum has rules/standards defined and set in place regarding the content posted on each forum (Sports, Smack, Small Talk, Prayer, etc). Kenn Rashad is the owner, and I don't speak for him; he can give better clarification. Nor do I speak for the Grambling alum.

I couldn't care less about his alleged extramarital affairs, most men I know cheat (I just wish more were smarter about it). I was just sharing what I thought was interesting information about him.

And yet you felt the need to bring up this information that was INSINUATED to you by a Grambling alum last year. While those things in the personal life of the late Eddie Robinson, Sr. may have happened, this particular forum IS NOT the place to talk about some allegation that could get out and scar his remaining family members. I've read quite a bit of your posts, and the majority of them subliminally/low-key throw shade/salt/hate when the discussion about a school or band or team. You normally waste no time posting negativity (under your so-called, poorly guise of "interesting information") about something/someone, so I'm curios as to why you didn't feel the need to share this as soon as you learned about it, which makes me believe that you're either not telling the truth or you're just being yourself, eager to bring up a negative allegation about someone to make them look bad, or you just want attention. If it's the latter, you definitely got it from me.

But, again, this is a public forum, tho. Views/opinions are shared, no matter how disgraceful, disrespectful, tactless, classless, and down-right trashy some are, including your post above. And since this is a public forum, I took the liberty to resoectfully share my opinion about yours. A word of advice to you: you might want to read of the rules set for each of the Forums before you post.

That is all.

One of the most profound and interesting things I learned about the late, legendary Coach Robinson was something I read some years ago......I ask the Grambling alum to please forgive me if I left out details.....

During his earlier coaching days, Coach Robinson and his team were out practicing when a man in a pickup truck drove out toward the field. The man was the father to 2 young men on the GSU football team. He told Coach Robinson his boys could no longer play on the team; the man was a sharecropper and owned a very large piece of land. In order for him to meet his demand, the man needed his sons to help with the farming. He was there to literally pack up his sons and take them home. While Coach Robinson DID NOT stop the man, he did talk with him and get a detailed story of what was going on. Afterwards, the man left with his sons.

A few days later, Coach Robinson, the GSU football team, and coaching staff showed up at the man's home. They had tools, tillers, gloves, shovels, whatever needed and helped the man with his land. EVERYBODY was out there working! When all the work was finished, the man's land was ready for production of his promised harvest. He was able to not only keep his land, but his boys were able to go back to Grambling. Coach Robinson stated later that is was NOT SO MUCH as keeping the boys on the team AS IT WAS KEEPING THEM IN SCHOOL TO GET AN EDUCATION!

I'll share a secret with the Forums: when I read that, I had a moment of envy toward the GSU alum! Grambling State University was truly blessed to have such a man to grace their campus.

Doc performed for some Eddie Rob functions too. My grandfather was frat and he has tons of pictures with all of them together with so many famous people.

I knew they were tight. Coach Rob and Doc would tease each other. Doc being from Gram territory in Shreveport and Coach Rob being from South Baton Rouge.
