Charles Barkley's comments about "uneducated Blacks" sparks debate


I really think it's hilarious how in denial some folks in here are lol. We're really going to act as if black kids, black MALES especially, don't get ridiculed in school for being smart? Or that it isn't "cooler" to dumb yourself down, wear your pants around your ankles or be a "thug?" Can we get some people in here to keep it real? Some of these posts aren't even worth responding to, just the same ol typical posts from the "woe as us, let's blame the man" crowd. If you think that part is BS then you clearly haven't been involved with the school system in the past 10 years, that much is pretty clear. I've never seen any other group of people that actually refer to using proper diction as, "talking white." lol, but we're going to act like dude is just making this up though. Welp.
 
I wonder who is worst, black self hating nikkers or white male republicans who wanna kill off all blacks? They both the same. :lol:

Here's the bottom line:

The Black community ... as a family ... needs to stop doing things that hurt the family.

It doesn't matter whether Charles Barkley says it, Bill Cosby or nobody at all.

We need to stop tearing down our own house. Our own people. Period.

Like Cee said, it's not like whites don't look down upon others for being smart or trying to carry themselves in such a manner different from whatever the acceptable behavior is supposed to be. Where do you think the words nerd, dweeb, geek, etc. came from? It sure didn't originate with us. There are have been countless TV shows, movies and otherwise exploring the tales of nerdy white kid(s) being ostracized for being super smart and making their peers feel inferior in the process.

Nobody is saying anyone is making this up. But, at the same time, folks can't act like this is only unique to the black experience and must be addressed or fixed because it is some sort of great hindrance to mobility.

Tell that to your white friends on behalf of Jeffery Dahmer, Jack the Ripper, Ted Bundy, Byron Beckwith, The Son of Sam, Gary Ridgway, J. Edgar Hoover and the Menendez Brothers because there is a problem in the white community right? :lol: :emlaugh:

Nah man, it all started and is only prevalent in the "Negro Community".
 
This conversation reminds me of when I hosted a Television Show by the name of Talkfest. We discussed many subjects. If we had a guess who cancelled, we had to make up something quick. It appears to me a reporter had no subect matter and just as I did had to make up something. Therefore, when you are in the media, you know how people think and most of all you select the ones who will make your story. In the media, you say things like, one high source said, the American people believes, the polls said and you go on and on. Wilson is a clean cut individual, so as a reporter, how do I get a story on him. As a reporter, I cannot go up to him and start talking about race, because he is Bi-racial, so I create something. Just look at all the excitement the reporter has caused by simply saying someone said he is not black enough. When Harbin departed, no one gave the real reason, Lynch is up for 7 millions clause in his contract and now there is an issue with him because of his past actions. What is the real story? Do we need a story on Seattle? It sure is not being Black enough. As many have stated there opinions which are based on actual experiences, but the real issue is as a reporter, I need a story. At he MCC this weekend, I was sitting beside a well-educated Black man and he was telling me about how we should get rid of the SWAC and move our teams into other conferences. He gave many examples of why we need to compete for championships. I told him you are talking to a person who love BCF and I don't care about the SEC, ACC, Big Twelve or any other school you want to compare us to. I said when this game is over, I am going back to the tailgate, have some fun and be in Jackson next week. I didn't want to be engaged in a conversation, I needed to try and defend the SWAC or AAMU and I don't need Sir Charles to speak for me, because I have lived a segregation society (enforced by law) desegregation (in an attempt to live the American dream), but integration is still years away, therefore, I know how to evaluate every comment and process it in my mind.
 
Are you in denial, that there are uneducated blacks that tease and torture other blacks that are trying to get an education?

Nah. Kendrick is all about ignoring what Black people do and finding a way to blame the man for all of Black people's ills.

Even when we're talking about Black people's behavior toward other Black people, Kendrick finds a way to blame whitey.

Blaming the man is like a security blanket for some of these people. They can never grow up because they can never be without their blankie. :smh:

Folks always say it's broad generalization UNTIL.......Pookie and Ray Ray kill one of their family members or friends trying to rob the store.
 



Charles Barkley repeating same crap that hypocrite and rapist Bill Cosby said back in 04..

I know plenty of black people without college degrees that demand children in the community go to education and start business..
