I'll get something new when yall win something this century.
:lmao::lmao::lmao:

And I'll quit laughing when ya'll can string 2 decent seasons together.:lmao:

And yall hire people with losing records!!!!
:scared::scared:

Nope...................CULBERTSON hired a loser.
WE got him fired......................NEXT. :swink:

Nope...that is not gonna benefit JSU-SU-Alcorn-Grambling so it won't happen....:lmao:

Also, WHY would JSU agree to have SU as a permanent rival with Alcorn having GSU as a permanent rival so we can lose and get bumped out of the championship game? I am sure that UAPB and Valley would be permanents but how do you think the BAMAs and Texans will feel about this? Permanent rivals in the SWAC is very unfair.

I could care less who the permanent rivals pair are. It gives a chance for each school to preserve a traditional game, but to think that JSU will get SU and GSU every is fine, as long as the game counts as 2 of the 7 conference games. So I guess you lose either way, because now you have at least two loses and you will never get to the SCG. :lmao:

But they will have a moral season record of 11-0.

Not that JSU can't beat GSU or SU because aside from the Bell years, you will find a HARD time finding years that we lost to BOTH of them. However, why should we let the rest of you off the hook? You are the ones who traditionally have trouble beating BOTH of them. Take your GSU and SU azzwhoopins like a man. We will play them, beat them and get the money.

Which is why the HAVE NOT's stay that way.
No business sense
.
RIVAL's are MONEY GAMES.

Dude......................2006 is the 1st time UAPB has done anything in the SWAC that anyone alive today can actually say they witnessed.
You been losing to Southern and Gram every year since you re-joined the conference.
And we KNOW those 2 will be counted as 2 of YOUR conference games EVERY YEAR.

You should becasue it means money. Nobody's fans come to UAPB anyway so I guess to you, it wouldn't matter. Like I said, this would be the Texans and BAMAs problem because it would hit their budgets...therefore, NO ONE would vote for permanent rivals (and all would vote no for different reasons). It's simply a bad idea. You can have permanent rivals in the SEC because those teams sell out their stadiums regardless of the opponent.

LOL. You can't avoid SU, GSU and TxSU.......so how are you gone backdoor?

#1, we'll beat TSU this fall. Bank on that.
#2, we WILL beat SU this fall. Bank on that. :swink:
#3, we WILL defeat lol GSU this fall. Put that in the bank as well.
#4, we WILL defeat the running one-dimensional team from UAPB this fall. Bank that.

Our only obstacles this fall are the teams from the east that we play and Langston, Paul Quinn, and Concordia. :emlaugh:

Oh, we'll have a surprise for that azz this fall. :emlaugh: And, we'll keep them a secret until the first game vs TSU. :emlaugh:

Carry on.

I've got a novel idea, why don't we sell out our stadiums regardless of the opponent. that's what I mean by fix your program. get enough fans in your base who purchase season tickets that it doesn't matter what you do. what u basically said, was that it's a bad idea b/c a lot of schools can't stand on their own 2 feet. and what I'm saying is too bad, the welfare office is closed.

Tell that to Alcorn, not Jackson State. Okay. :D

OK MH.

Tell us .................... :goof:

What has the 9-game mandate done for the SWAC the last 5 years.
How high has our conference status been raised because of it.
How many conference schools are BETTER because of it.
Did our teams improve playing basically mirror images of ourselves every week.............Meaning no new looks from other teams from other conferences.

Just what was so great about this 9-game mandate with a championship game played the day AFTER 2 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS ARE CROWNED...........D1-AA and D2.

Come on ...................Tell us before we take that "leap".
Pro's and Cons.
Let's have it MH.

Serious..................

it's not rocket science. the sec and now the acc manages this every year. the sec plan is simple and fair and let's you know who your going to play years in advance. play everyone in your division. you get one permanent rival from the other division and the two rotating teams from the other division. very simple and straight forward. no not knowing who you play until the season is over.

for those that say this allows teams to backdoor their way to a championship....win the games on your schedule and you don't have to worry about the next guy. if someone goes 7-0 in the swac they deserve to be in the scg regardless of what 7 teams they played.

for those that say we want grambling or southern or both on our schedule this season........ THERE IS NO WELFARE IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL....FILL UR STADIUM WITH YOUR FANS AND STOP HOPING SOMEONE BRINGS A CROWD AND STOP LOOKING TO SEE WHO'S ON THE SCHEDULE BEFORE YOU DETERMINE IF YOUR GOING. if your a fan be a fan. buy a season ticket and go to all the games even if they're playing jackson baptist jr high cafateria staff. aiight!!

they should not allow a swac team to play another swac team if they are not on your 7 game swac schedule. it just creates confusion and defeats the purpose and spirit of the 7 game mandate. you want a money game? go play usm or louisiana-monroe or troy, but the league office should have SEVERE penalties for any schools that would attempt to subvert the 7 game mandate.

It's all about the dollar bill, plain and simple.
If the athletic budget doesn't have any funds in it, playing teams that don't draw well is not very practical.

I been saying this through out this thread.
People only got diversions or excuses.

 He walked right into that one MH. I wonder what the gatekeeper is up to right now? hmm

Nice co-sign by the Bammas.:lmao:

If ya'll actually said something, it would be a first.

And you can answer the question also.

What was so good about the 9-game mandate.
Get the rest of the question's in the post I made to MH.

Bruh, you would be better off getting your point across to a class of puppies at Mans Best Friend than TP or staggalee83. They have all but said that they can't last unless they have GSU and SU on their schedule. They must be blind because they have no vision.

lets be real.

I'm not joking though.

:)

Turmoil and new system in Gramblingland. lol SU will be SU and that's fine. TSU will improve as will UAPB. Because we're going to be improved PV this fall. Everyone understands how important elgibility is.

We'll be a-okay this fall. :swink:
