Celtics Bandwagon Exit Thread

Dude, this is total nonsense. The Heat were attacking the rim because nobody was in the middle to stop them. That's where Perkins came in, to play defense in the middle and get rebounds.

Thank you!!

Kendrick only reads stats, doesn't delve into the reason behind the stats.

Perkins was out hurt all three of them games if memory serves me correct.

Ronda not being 100% hurt them more than anything...the decision to get Shaq was obviously a huge waste.. I'm a Shaq fan and can admit that.

Man, it was a huge waste. The Celtics were already aging before they got him, then they go get someone older than all of the big 3 who has been very injury prone in the last few years of his career. Makes no sense.

Also, since Rondo was playing hurt, Nate Robinson could've helped pick up his slack. Another reason why that trade was stupid.

lmaooo

also them not giving Tony Allen that money hurt too. What helped the C's last year was the 2 unit off the bench giving the 3 a relieft, Nate, Tony, Big Baby, and Rasheed Wallace, Big Baby aint do shit this whole playoffs

Just pointing out the obvious since you idolize and worship another man, LOL!! With the way you react when someone says something about Kobe, it's like someone is talking about your woman, LOL!! Speaking of gay, have another look at that photo shoot Kobe did, LOL!!

Dude, if Kobe leaves the Lakers today, I'm still a Lakers fan. And if I was worshipping Kobe, I wouldn't be saying that Jordan was a better player.

Ainge made a bad move. YOu have aging vets and you go get more aging vets. The Lakers made that mistake picking up Malone and Payton. You have to find young guns to mix with those vets to stay competitive.I shole hope Mitch brings in some youth this time and gets rid of Gaysol....

Very stupid... I have no idea why teams keep passing Nate Rob around like he has no value...Dude is a big time bench player when you need offense

Well, you better tell Scott Brooks about that then because Lil' Nate don't get off the bench on OKC now.

Yeah, Kendrick Perkins not on the C's is the reason why KG, Pierce and Allen sucked in the second half of the last two games against the Heat. When your best post player scores TWO POINTS in the second half of an elimination game, you are going to lose. Having a space eater on the floor does not solve that problem. Sheesh!

Boston won their first three games against Miami in the regular season WITHOUT Perkins. Obviously they didn't miss him then. Bottom line Boston's best players didn't perform well when it mattered during critical stretches of the game. The Heat star players did. That is why Miami is advancing.

Now run tell dat.

So I guess that I imagined those 15 points that Perkins scored along with 6 rebounds when the Celtics beat the Heat back in February huh? Read it and weep. And you call yourself a journalist? This kinda stuff makes you less credible and hard to take you seriously, especially for something that's so easily found. Next time do the research instead of making shit up. You ain't gotta lie to kick it.

Now run tell dat, bitch!!

Be careful what you cosign on. They beat Miami with Perkins in the regular season. Don't take what kendrick says as gospel.

TD, I just dont see Perkins as a liable option to determine how that series would have gone any different. He's not a scorer and yes he does clog the paint, but he's always in foul trouble; even in Oklahoma. The only thing he would have been able to do was give them 6 more fouls without too many points.

This guy:

provided more power than Perkins.

In my opinion, our bench at times throughout the season, looked like a hospital, with ice packs, knee's and backs getting worked on, players lying on the ground, they gave it their all
& that's all you could really ask for.

Same thing LeBron said we he buried that three in Paul Pierce's face at the end of Game 5.

Doesn't change the fact that you sat here and made up that crap about the Perkins not playing against the Heat when the Celtics beat the Heat.

Oh, forgive me offending Celtics nation by making a mistake. If the team was as fiery as you are, they might have toppled the Heat even without the bulky Kendrick Perkins.

Hey, if you want to believe that Perkins was or would have been the difference maker against Miami during the series (despite the fact the their three best players faltered down the stretch in losses) there's nothing that can be done about that.
