2. Pray for a Southern-North Carolina A&T Match-Up - Considering that FAMU football is banned from postseason competition, the best hope to bring scores of fans to Atlanta for the Celebration Bowl is for Southern to win the SWAC, and for North Carolina A&T to win the MEAC. Southern is the biggest HBCU football brand in the country. A&T has one of the biggest fan bases, and recently got some love from ESPN because it features a running back who can do a backflip and catch two footballs at the same time.

Geographically, both teams can travel to the game relatively inexpensively. Both schools have big fan bases in Atlanta, and historically travel well when their teams are winning. The next most likely matchup, Alcorn State vs. Morgan State, would be a great football game but wont draw nearly as many fans, won’t play as well for casual audiences, and woudn’t be able to easily transport their bands to the game.

Exactly...honestly, I'd hope for an SCSU or even BCU vs Southern, JSU, or Alabama State match-up.

Morgan State could also very well win the conference and I have NO confidence in them selling tickets and getting fans to the Georgia Dome.
 
In that article, they should really start looking for sponsors to the hafltime show like right now so that people at home can see the entire show and not what ESPN/ABC typically do (nothing but their standard ribble rabble about FBS football)

Well, according to a lot of these on here, it doesn't matter if it's a Morgan St vs Valley match up. It will still be a win-win with the cameras panning through all the empty seats.

Maybe the SWAC can hire some seat fillers. Award shows does it all the time.

I won't be upset because I don't focus my season on beating JSU only. Can't say the same for the rest of the War Party Room folks lol. They think everybody will just lay down. There is a reason I have turned my attention to Jenkins in the other forum.

where & why did JSU come into the discussion? Who's concerned with them anyway. Are we not champs despite not winning against them this past season? Of course beating the MEAC champ is more important than beating JSU. That team will be in the Celebration bowl...that game will be the biggest game of the year for whoever wins the SWAC championship. Once, again you saying a whole bunch of nothing with little logic. As for vision, that War Party clique is part of the vision that got the Braves their 1st championship in the last 20yrs. You aren't an Alcornite. You need to change your name or better yet go to MEAC fans board since you always on their ****.

You need to be concerned about JSU. We are a team you can't beat and you can't keep a good team down! You need to listen.. JSU will win the EAST this year! ..and it may not even be close. The team we beat you with is NOTHING compared to the team we about to put on the field in 2015.
