Can't Beat Em Join Em....Kevin Durant

Warriors are fine , they only gave up barnes, bogut, and ezeli. They replaced Barnes with Durant (major upgrade) , Bogut with pachulia and targeting dewayne dedmon for ezeli (great fit). Depth is still their weapon ...they got major upgrades for the 73-9 squad without touching depth.

Curry/ KD pnr is going to be filthy!

Kevin Durant done sold out like the mailman. I used to respect the mailman for fighting to make Utah a contender all those years with weak azz Stockton and Hornachek but then he did this...

I agree. The starting 5 is top notch no doubt but the secret sauce was the ability to bring 6 guys off the bench and not miss a beat.
Livingston and Iguodala will be back. I doubt Barbosa or Speights leave. They got rid of Bogut's $11M and replaced him with someone who makes $2.6M or so. They can add another big like Chandler and still come out similar financially without Bogut. They played at $25M over the cap last season and will likely be less than that much over the cap this season if they can keep Barbosa, Speights, Rush, Clark, Ezeli and add another big.

Karl Malone had been in the league 17 years without a ring before he signed with LA.

At the end of his career. I'm not sure Utah even wanted him anymore at that point.

This new crop of players, led by Lebron, has changed the game. No more toiling away your prime on sub-par teams while owners get rich regardless. These news guys wanna choose their teammates AND get paid as much as they can. I'm all for it. Think Lebron cared that the Cavs had to pay over 50M in luxury tax in order to build a good team around him? You think Curry and Durant care that the Warriors will do the same this year? Not with a 24 billion dollar TV contract and owners dropping 10M a year on bench warmers.

This. I'm all for it too.

He should have went to the Clippers. He would have fit right in. I'm not sure how the Klay, Steph, KD dynamic will work with them sharing the shots. I'm sure they'll figure it out like Lebron and D-Wade did but still. Somebody won't be happy when this is said and done.

Considering the baby mama was like 13 when he got her pregnant, I'm not surprised. Karl Malone's always been a piece of shit in my book.

There are more than just her and the twins. That nicca got so many kids in Summerfield that there are rumors of folks that accidentally are in bred because of him.

David West will sign with warriors. They have reached out to mario chalmers
, ray allen and kendrick perkins for remaining roster spots. Warriors front office know what the hell they are doing I see...

The Warriors strength last year was scoring. If they had a weakness it rebounding/ post play. To me they are making a strength a bigger strength and ignoring the defensive side of the court.

They are hoping Perkins has something left besides playing dirty and making ugly faces. They know he won't demand the ball. They need a banger and rebounder and someone who will make everyone (except LeBron) think twice about coming down the lane. The thing is can Perkins get up and down the floor more than four times a quarter?

I think Durant, Curry and Thompson will be able to 'tri-exist'. Durant has won scoring titles. What he does not have is a ring...and he wants (at least) one very badly.
