Candidates being interviewed for A&M

They can’t say ish about coaches until the year 2040.

LOL...2040 definitely qualify as handicap. Remember, "never make fun of the handicap." You never know where handyman may be flying.

I've had my eye on him for a minute. It would be a good hire. I've hinted about Berry before in another thread and noticed you jags didn't want to entertain that discussion.....lol.
This one Jag who aint scared. If yall get him kudos 2 u guys.

ROTFLMAOOOOOOO!

Hire from SU if you want to... LOL

When we first hired Germany, most of us were like "why hire an offensive guy from SU?"

JSU fans have never respected the SU offense. Even during the Pete days, SU beat us with the most remedial offense and good defense and special teams. The only good OC they ever had was the white dude who came with the Race Horse Offense and they ran him off.

I bet all these guys that was keeping it a secret say they been knew. Honestly I know he was the top guy for Del State. Now y’all can start with the “told you so” and the “ real bulldogs had to keep it a secret” posts

Maynor wanted the AAMU job since Spady was hired...we've been waiting for this to happen.

Maynor is also a native son of Fayetville, Nc ...birthplace of former slave and founder of Alabama A&M William Hooper Councill

if Maynor wanted the job back then I think Hampton and A&M was open the same year he could’ve got the job then. I’m happy for the brother he is a good guy. Only job I know he really really really wants is A&T

That’s true... we were interested in him when spady was hired... but so was everyone else .. he would have been here if he wanted to be here back then. He had an opportunity for the A&T job when they had their last opening and he turned it down . I think he was hoping for a major college or mid major opening while at WSSU. He was one of the hottest coaches in the country at that time .

Hampton was a tough job and can be a gold mine going to the PWI conference I hope he hires some coaches with Alabama connections. Offensive staff probably won’t be retained I know I wouldn’t keep them.

According to that article M.Ed posted, his offensive staff may be coming with him.

Not so fast my friend...Excellent staff and recruiting is the key..

And a staff that can teach the fundamentals of football and the ability to take a talented 1 star and in two years he is a 3 star etc...In essence a staff that can take a player to the next stage by getting the best out of him. If you have talented athletes with fundamentals, you are on your way to being competitive.
