Cancel SWAC Championship Game

The concert being cancelled played a big role in butts in the seats. The SWAC needs a Plan B. Stuff happens.

They need to add a SWAC Band Stand Battle, that alone would attract thousands. I say band band battle because the SWAC is all about the stands these days. Now the two bands whose teams are not in the game probably won't participate unless the battle if the night before the game.
 
DMJ.. you want us to quit on a 40K game? Heck, I would see how the CB does first before we shut down our own shat! If the CB bowl can't outperform the SCG, then let's cancel that. A&T fans have had weeks to prepare. They should be deep.

I totally agree. A Battle of the Bands after the game was a great addition during the 2013 game. Everyone loved it.

If they are going to continue concerts instead, we NEED to bring in A-list performers.

We need safe performers with hits that the old and young will enjoy. Frankie Beverly was a home run last year. Even younger people were amped to go with their parents to see him. R kelly (hate him or love him) has enough steppers music and "mild" hits to fit that mold for an hour show. As I said before, Earth Wind and Fire spans generations and would fit that mold. Even someone like Erykah Badu (who has been at it for almost 20 years) would be a safe choice.

Erykah Badu would be a Major Hit... especially with her being a GramFam.

Bruh they have a bunch of artist that is afiliated with the conference either directly or indirectly that would blow that thing up.
