Can y'all swing out and/or two-step?

We have a dance contest going on, at my church in support of the Church Anniversary activies and I think I'm going to enter. I believe they give you lessons first, then you compete.

I've never officially learned how to swing....did any of you take classes for it?

In high school we learned how to swing for a performance we were doing. In college that's when GAP had those "khakis" commercials where everyone was swing dancing. We used to have dances where they'd show you how the 1st hr and then the dance followed.

However, stepping has left. :lol: I still love to dance, just no stepping.

I really don't know how, but I can fake real well! I've got decent rythm, and can feel when to spin the chick, but never actually had someone show me what to do.
