If I see one more band dry humping, p-popping, dropping it like its hot,and another set of big gulls dancing, i'm gonna scream! At this point I would rather just see a drill(lets get some creativity with them too!),dance troupe,and a ballad (I know there's still some talented singers on our campuses),your school's fight song,and march off the field.

Maybe its the highlights that they show of our bands. Like my dad used to say, people can only use what you give them.


And this goes for the MEAC too!!!
 
Bruh, I was thinking the same thing last night. Grambling, y'all are the World Famed, please let your music showcase your band. Y'all do wayyyyyyy to much humping. Watching the halftime show last night vs TSU was like watching an orgy. For real it was like one big Phuck Festival.......... :sad:
 



Everybody's guilty of it. Last night I watched the ESPU special on BCU & FAMU, caught some of the halftime from the SC st & Morgan game, and the gram/tsu game. It all looks the same now. Just different color uniforms. It just seems like bands cant wait to get the breakdown or block band formation to do their thing. We all copy each other at some point or another. Directors need to be more creative.

PS: Leave the big girls alone.. They are being exploited like the skinny girls. :D

Yeah, the wobble girls just wasn't needed. Thought they would have leared from the LDC-09 debacle.

I do understand that some may not want to see the big girls wobble and such. I dont care to see anyone doing it. I just hate that it is frowned upon when a full figured woman or young lady shows that even though she is big, she can move just like the petite framed one. Hey blame Monique!

Okay I'm glad I went to JSU...Are these College age women? Where did they find 9 women all about the same size and same hair(lol)...Man Edward Waters must be a Commuter college for older house wifes...Runs out the thread..

looked nobody wants to see big girls grinding all that sausage and toe knockle meat on the field. You just know they sweating something fierce in all the wrong places....Yuck....

I'm not even trippin off the big gulls. Thing is, every HBCU band has a similar version and we see it every week. Just do somthing different.

LOL! You are so right! Seriously, I hate to see where fulll figured women are frowned upon for showing that they can work what they were blessed with like the small ones. They do the same dances are the skinny ones that the men drool over. Now none of them need to be x-rated and strip club material.

I have been thinking the same thing for the last 10 or 15 years. Come on band directors, can't you come up with something different. ENOUGH ALREADY!!!!

And, another thing that gets under my claw: The announcers (the guy that introduces the band when the band marches on the field, I am not sure what they are called) NEEDS TO SHUT THE F%@K UP AND LET THE DAMN BANDS PLAY!!!

I mean, once the band is on the field, the "announcers" need to chill. :mad:

Hey back in the day ya boy here dated a few full figured women and it's cool with me as long as they are active, healthy and happy with who they are. Now their is a line but you wouldn't like where it is. :lol:

Although, I undertand your point of view considering you aint but 5'4" 103 lbs. with wet clothes on. It's just too much for ya, I get it!
