Not so fast on the trophy. Yall still got to come to Gram...er Ruston and play the Gmen. We got our pitchers studying the PV tapes to see how to best throw at Ricky Weeks.

Our defense was fairly shaky early on, but beating up on the weak teams out of the East Division should help us get ready by the time yall come to Lincoln Parish.

I give ole Roger his props cuz he has the program at the top, but we're looking to pull the rug! Anything can happen in a tourney, and we know GSU vs SU means intense competition. Plus TxSU has been looking pretty good lately! You're gonna have to use all of those 10 pitchers in the tourney.

If SU students were so great remember William Fourche and the check scandal? Nemessis bates and stolen fan scandal? Work study scandal? Need I go on? (waiting on baseball field of dreams) Those were done by scholarshipped students, makes you not want them on your campus sometimes.

As for locker rooms, easily accesible to the stadium. For your pleasure, when the new stadium comes we'll get them installed for you.

What I was referring to is since SU has graduated more people than any HBCU, we have alot of alums out there across the country that haven given SU a great name. You see I have been more places than you and I have yet to run across anyone that hasn't heard of SU. White or Black. I have had interviews where they knew things you couldn't get off the internet. All positive. So can the hate crap. So we can be arrogant. We are an historic instituiton of higher learning who haven't let the white boys put us under their system. I will take every ragged building at SU over anything new at PV. Because I know it's ours and we don't have be subjected to what the man has to say. If Texas A&M tells PV you will not have sports then you you guys will have to bow down to them. If A&M wants to eliminate your great Engineering program, they can. It may take some doing, but you guys could be turned in Texas A&M at PV before SU will ever fall under LSU. So you PF, not JSU, not TxSU, not Alcorn. I said you and your school. PF is lying about baseball. I coached Little League Baseball for 5 of the 9 years I lived in Houston and believe me baseball is real big in Texas. And not just with the white folks either. My frat brother still coaches there on the North side of Houston and it's serious. Remember a few year back some kids for NW Houston went the the little league world series. Since PF follows the sports there, he should know exactly what I am talking about. Texas is legendary in producing baseball talent. All you have to do is look at the Major League rosters to see.

These kids just don't go to PV. It is all kind of talent there in just in his area alone. Better than what's in La. So PF just is making excuses. The truth is that Daddy A&M don't want PV to have a good baseball program. You just watch an see. If PV starts to have a good athletic program the Aggies will find a way to pull the rug from up under them. No way they allow PV to have any success at their expense.

I played baseball for 9 years and I know how big it is in Houston. However, no team in Houston will ever have access to the top HS talent. I know that and TSU, UH and Rice knows that.

IF I am not mistaken, does Louisiana even has junior colleges? Thought so, they don't. So they have a big advantage Texas schools don't have, especially in baseball.

We aren't aristocratic or even arrogant in the way we feel about SU and Jaguar Athletics. I think it all boils down to the highest level of pride that a person can have for his or her school. Of the 30,000 people that come to a game on this campus, a good number of them never came to Southern for school or they came and didnt graduate. However, along with the Alumni, these folx think that Southern is the best thing to happen to humanity since pop-top coke cans. In my opionion that is the way we ALL should feel about our various schools. PF, you came to Southern, so to me I don't understand the reasons that you have to feel that amount of hatred (that is what this sounds like) for this school. I went to Hampton before I came to Southern. Was Hampton perfect? No it wasn't, but they are trying to make it better. Same goes on here, this school is trying to make things better.

All the little things that PF mentioned about the campus, most of which aren't current by the way, hurt the fan base and the Alumni equally. However, it doesn't detract from the pride that these people have for this school. The coaching changes, the 'scandals', Nemo and his stolen fan, and I'm sure there are and will be others, were actions and or crimes by individuals and they were handled by the school legally. Just as they would be at the other instiutions of higher learning in this 230 million person country of ours.

....and finally, what in the hell does this stuff have to do with the Jaguars winning the SWAC baseball title? We still gonna kick all ya'lls arses (is that how you spell that...lol) in the Tourny! yeah BiggMike Grams too....ROO

Some of those old heads had not won either, it's just that are comfortable with their own accomplishments. Personal success will do that for you. A few were around in the 60's but most are 70's grads and they remember getting beat down as well. They just don't hate on other schools. And one thing for sure. They didn't like the direction the University was going. That was 99. I am sure that they are thrilled with the progress PV's made.

No one said you had no players from Dallas. But you don't get as many as TxSU does. I was basing it on your big game in Dallas every year and if you had 65 scholarships you could get more. You say it's going to happen. So we'll see. Time is ticking. But you can forget about beating SU,GSU or JSU with 15 scholarships. Heart can carry you only so far. It'll get you close a couple of years. But no victories over the powers that be. Don't get too enamored with Dorsey. I have a reliable source that is real close to Dorsey claiming he is looking to move on. A couple of more wins and he's history. Don't be shocked to see PB go after him if Hardeman slips up again this year. Better get those scholarships quick bruh. Time is running out. I am sure even you realize that
