I love this...WE actually lost to SU because we had not settle on a QB nor had we actually started to run our two best backs. During that game we still had a scatt back getting all the carries and we were playing QB shuffle. Add to that we had two oversided Tackles who could not run in the middle. Had DB who is now on the bench cover on those two TD's... This time we have LB's who all can run to the ball and tackle, a DL that is young and fast. And CB's and a Safety that can cover...Yet none of you guys have said what your defense will do. So your plan is to get up early and hold on for dear life like last time.....

I don't think yall are scared. But like I say about this game every year. Emotions play a big part of it. We as fans get caught up on what player is this and that. But not realizing the emotions both teams have in this game. Each coach could have the best game plan. But that doesn't stop fumbles, blocked kicks, returns and INTs from happening. You can be too jacked up for this game and come out flat.
I never think this game is going to be the blow out that each side wants outside of that game in 04 and no one was happy about that at the end of the day. It wasn't even fun. TP likes to talk this 3 TD stuff like the SU kids have no pride in this game and ain't going to punch right back in this game if they absorb a blow. I expect both teams to trade blows and more than likely this game will be like the majority of JSU vs SU games in the last 20 years. It will be close and it will be opportunities taken and opportunities blown by both sides. It is only the fans personal feelings that think blow out every time. Nervous energy will be part of both fan bases on Saturday. All this bravado on TSPN means nothing. None of us are going to suit up and play. None of us are going to call the plays. Just simple isht talking as usual. LOL.

TP, us fans ain't playing the game. SU's defense is for Big Worm and the players to worry about. They know what they need to do and what they need not to do. I don't think any Jag fan is comfortable with the defense hence no bragging on it. But that does not mean they will not show up on Saturday and play well enough to get the W. We all know it will come down to if SU can get any kind of pressure on C Moore and contain him from making plays with his feet. Forcing him to make mistakes is key. Depending on what your coaching staff tries to do on offense Saturday will dictate what SU response will be. Same will be the case for your defense. I know you really don't think Germany and Berry have called all their plays and formations already in this season. You have to be smarter than that.

The way your team been against the wall.. ya'll have had to used most of your playbook to get past Valley and PV. I am sure some new things can be added but you would be crazy to think your OC was "saving" something.. :lol:
Also, JSU is three TDs better than SU but I don't think it will show. SU gets up too much for JSU and I plan to see a good game. But pound for pound, ya'll don't match up.

Nah man, we ain't used isht. Ask the fans if they think the playbook has been utilized. I saw more in the U of H game play calling than the next 3. They be changing up isht and still trying to establish the run. Which frustrates a lot of the fans. Also I don't think they were saving something. But you got to be adding plays to the book all year as you go.

The playbook is open. The first page is run plays and everything after that is pass,pass,pass.I think maybe odums was trying to run the ball and win vs valley to save plays but he had to pass. Su is one sided on offense even with tgeir "starting" rb. This game is gonna go either two ways. 1 a shoot out or 2 low scoring defensive game.

The starting RB now that he is healthy can actually play. Tillery can run and catch. I have no issues with our RBs. It is the playcalling to start games that is conservative. I know Odums is trying to not have folks just tee off on Dray right off the bat. But when you run every 1st down you have, that puts you behind the eight ball with 2 and long. I don't think his OCs will be crazy and change everything this Saturday. But I do believe JSU defense will see things we have not done on film this year. It has been too much mention and PRAISE from Odums on the JSU defense. He called them one of the best in the country at our level. So I doubt SU offense shows the same looks they did in the first few games on every play.

Man...im so tired of hearing we stand up to play JSU.....no JSU wants to be the SU of the 90's and early 2000's.....b4 the bone headed coaching moves SU stood up to play everybody!...Home or away...Let su win the swac....it's going to be hard to get a seat in Mumford....yeah we do like the game vs JSU....we hate you....Period!!!....same with gram....same with alcorn.....our fans like good HBCU football...no matter who you are......at one point in time...if you didn't roll up on alcorn's campus for about 6:00 AM you didn't get on....you walked...and the game didn't start till like 1
