Camping out .( Micheal Jordan Sneakers)

And most who buy those shoes wouldn't give a second thought to buying a season ticket to HBCU football games which can include basketball.

Who in their right mind would buy season tickets to HBCU football or baksetball. I rather spend my money on a pair of Jordans. At least i know what i am getting. I will stick to buying a ticket on game day, i dont go alot of HBCU games anyway.

And there you have it!

Crowd riots at Florida Mall over new Nikes

Authorities said a crowd of hundreds turned to chaos at the Florida Mall, all over new basketball shoes.

Police in riot gear and horseback were called to the mall late Thursday night to handle the crowd of people anxiously waiting to get their hands on an expensive, limited edition pair of sneakers.

Witnesses said there were about 1,200 people waiting outside Foot Locker for the release of the Nike Air Foamposite One Galaxy, a galactic-themed sneaker designed in part as a nod to Florida's space industry.

The shoes feature a colorful, starry design resembling a nebula in deep space. They even glow in the dark.

Officials said Foot Locker only had about 200 pairs of the new sneakers, and were prepared to start selling them at 11 p.m. Thursday.

But police said a crowd quickly formed outside the store more hours earlier. So officers asked everyone to wait across the street.

Then, around 9:45 p.m., police said one person made a run toward the store, and the rest of the crowd quickly followed, resulting in what some called "absolute chaos."

This thread is about young dumb farts trying to buy an old fart name brand shoes.

This been going on since the early 90s. The young farts learn to carry tradition from the old farts. Each generation is a reflection of the pass generation. The young farts had to be born. WHen they are born, its up to the pass generation to teach. I guess the old farts failed at teaching. Piss Poor

Well, at least you agree they are young DUMB farts.

I never said they was young DUMB farts, neither did i call anyone dumb or stupid. If you show me a dumb person,i will show you a fool. Before you try and call this generation dumb, take a look in the mirror and analyze yourself thats my point in my earlier post.

From the previous threads that you started, which clearly expresses your comparison dislike for the generation of men before you, you must be one of those young farts who grew up in a household without a father figure present.

My PARENTS are happily married. They been married for 31 years Mr Know it all. Stop assuming. I just stated my opinion in my last thread that the Young farts are better NBA players than old farts. I have no problem with the generation before or after me. The old farts always criticize the younger generation. Do some to make it better. "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem"

Yep, just like folks who get pepper sprayed, and get into fights over inexpensive items on Black Friday and free KFC giveaways care of Oprah.

So who got stabbed trying to get a tv during black friday? I don't remember anyone getting stabbed outside KFC either.

People will make up stories quick and post it on the net. I remember a false report about a teenager being murdered in DC over a pair of Concords (Jordans) back in December. That lie spread like wildfire...

It is remarkable how PWC's will support their crappy programs (and some of us will too) but we, COLOREDS, can't support our crappy programs.

I pay my JSU alunmi dues. In my case, i live in DC, so me getting season tickets to JSU games are pointless. I only attend 1 game a year and thats homecoming. I sometimes watch the games on espnu, but i find myself flipping to some else because of the boreness of it.

I feel ya, but actually some schools allow fans to donate the price of season tickets if they cannot make it to the games.

I'm sorry, but riots include fights and arrests. This was just a rush to be first in line.

If i can find a less fortunate family that cant afford to attend JSU football games. i would buy season tickets and give it to them, but i dont think JSU does that though. I do wish JSU would play a school up in the DMV area. I would attend the game.
