Mega-donor: Democratic overspending disqualifies Harris ‘forever’

Vice President Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) are set to address the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) finance directors amid reports that the campaign is $20 million in debt after a lavish spending spree.

Political mega-donor John Morgan told NewsNation’s “CUOMO” on Monday that those who poured money into the Harris-Walz campaign were trying to defeat Trump, not elect Harris — and her campaign’s spending is cause for serious concern.

“All of a sudden, everybody’s got the keys to the candy store, ad buyers, talent consultants. There’s 100 days to do it, and the money started pouring in,” Morgan said, adding that “ego” and a “crazy” desire to obtain commissions on placed ads drove much of the spending.

No this country already sent the message a woman of color will not win.

Despite the resume and everything Biden and Harris done-they can NOT combat ignorance.

Some folk no matter how bad it gets under Trump would rather STAY in a recession than vote for her. I don't care how many are showing voter remorse online.

I could careless about Morgan's comments. If BUSINESS was taken care of in the primaries of 2023-BIden LOST those primaries instead of soundly winning them-Harris wouldn't have been in that spot.

I said at the beginning of the race we would find out where white women prioritizes lies. Not even retention of reproductive rights would sway them in favor of “the blacks. “

Them too.

But we won't see the levels of TOXIC that we saw with Harris. They can no longer tell ANY black person to pull themselves up by their bootstraps and work hard to make it.

We have BEEN doing that and they still got smoke for black folks.
 
VP Harris should not run again, as even with way more prep time she showed that she just can't win on a national level. Could she win a state wide office like governor or own the city level as Mayor, maybe.

I agree with you, but they will continue to tell black folks to pull themselves up by the bootstraps (while they themselves, generally speaking, don't). They have been saying this since almost the beginning of black enslavement in the land known as the USA. We have always succeed by over coming everything that has been thrown at us and we will just have to continue to do so by adapting as usual.
