If you haven't already, PLEASE get out and vote tomorrow.

The polls will be open from 7:00a.m. - 7:00p.m.

It is your civic duty!

Our votes MUST be counted!!!

If I lived in the city limits I would get out my vote, but since I don't :( ..sorry

Vote Chicago style.............early & often

Sanchez is not the answer......

Voted today there was not a person at the polls...

I agree LMBH Sanchez would really turn the city to tears..

As a person who has not voted in Texas (I have been a registered voter in Georgia for years.), I will still add my $0.02. I hope that Brown wins. When it comes to experience and knowledge, Brown beats Sanchez by 10 miles. Plus, Sanchez will be a tool for the rich establishment. Though it seems that a lot of Latinos are supporting Sanchez, he does not represent their needs and concerns. This is not just from Black folks or me. An editorial in the Houston Chronicle by a Latino writer. He wrote the column after another Latino criticized former San Antonio mayor Henry Cisneros for endorsing Brown. IMHO Sanchez does not represents Blacks, the middle class, the working people nor Latinos. I and others are not impressed by his record-if one exist.

BTW there maybe another Florida type of situation in Houston. I hope that it does not exist. But it is very possible.

It looks like the folks in Fort Bend County can take a bow.

It does not look like there will not be another recount. (But understand that we are talking about politics.) But it looks like there will be some controversy.

That last box finally made the 5 hour trip from the North side of Houston....

:emlaugh: :emlaugh: :emlaugh:

Brown wins by about 12,000 votes

Did you see sister girl....She was too shame to even
look at the camera...I was hoping it was a brother or sister
But once again we are late....

The polls closed at 7pm and she strolled in at 12:15am

Consider it done, lol. The section of FBC that vote in the city election is predominately African American, and we showed up.

Sanchez is a man of many hats. He is white when convenient, capitalizes on the Hispanic surname and a Republican. Ole boy is being groomed for something, and experience doesn't appear to be a prerequisite.

I was wondering who won. I was afraid that we were heading downstream so I did not even research the issue. Sanchez had some powerful backers. Both Dad and son Bush.

Thumbs up to Brown...
:) :)

You know if a Bush is behind you, something just ain't right !!!!

Since this is Brown's last term, I wonder who'll be next in line ? I'm sure Sanchez will be back again.

Well, we get two more years of Brown... Who's coming after him...

I wouldn't trust Sanchez tied up and hancuffed inside a bag of snakes..

I heard that in Missouri City there were 7000 votes casted. I hope that is a rumor considering that the population of Missouri City is about 50,000. You can't convince me that 43,000 of Missouri City's population is under 18.

LOL! I agree, Sistah. Something was definitely "rotten in the state of Denmark" with this guy.

A lot of those ofay firefighters are pissed.....

The Black firefighters endorsed Brown.

Those votes came from Houston, Fort Bend County.
not Mo City.

Thats even worse considering that Ft Bend includes most of Mo City, Stafford, Sugarland and First Colony.

They will get over it.

Believe me they would not have liked what
they got if Sanchez had won. Just like they
are all secretly upset of the mess Bush has
made of the economy, and the not just our
"world" but the entire global community. I
bet they're all wishing for a Clintonian
figure right now.

Now that this election is over, Brown better tighten up!

My husband and I voted before going out of town
for a wedding Saturday morning. When I went
online Sunday morning to get the results and
we had a good laugh. They brought out all
the big dawgs...i.e. Big Daddy Bush, Rodey Guliani.....
and got NOTHING!
