Spears room in Boston hotel benefits charity

BOSTON -- Guests at the Onyx Hotel can now sleep in Britney Spears' room -- if only in their dreams.
The singer's mother, Lynne, designed a room at the Onyx, in downtown Boston, to look just like the pop singer's bedroom at her home in Kentwood, La.

The Onyx Hotel in Boston has a room available to guests that duplicates Spears? bedroom in her Louisiana home. Part of the proceeds from the rental of that room go to Spears? charity.
Although the price of the room is slightly higher than most of the hotel?s other accommodations, the Onyx donates 10 percent of the room charge to the Britney Spears Foundation, which helps sick children and funds a performing arts camp in Louisiana.
A night in the 325-square-foot room will run you $349 in the high season (spring, summer and fall). The rest of the year it's $259. Most rooms at the Onyx range from $229 to $299
