Breaking News!!!!!!! Obama-Clinton Secret meeting

1) The good news is that they are communicating with one another.
2) The secret? Can you keep a secret?

They were reporting that Clinton does not want the V.P. position.

That don't mean jack shuck when it comes to what Hillary says, we should know that by now. Hell, there's others reporting that she wants it.

This is his first BIG test as the leader of the Democratic party. How well he can coordinate the selection of his running mate and how well he defines the role that Clinton can serve in the upcoming campaign.

They probably talking about Obama helping to wipe out her $13 million? campaign debt before she officially announces that she will throw in the towel Saturday.

That was discussed week's ago in the media when it was apparent that Obama was going to get the nod.
That bill becomes due when she is officially not a candidate anymore.

I thought it doesnt if she continues to run till the end of the campaign without conceding?

Right. Basically she's suspending her campaign, which allows her to continue to raise money to pay off debts. Right now she's 20M in the hole - I can't see Obama clearing all of that for her. He has the general campaign to deal with.

She is doing that Saturday remember.
She change her mind after all the backlash from Tuesday night.

They said that OBAMA has raised over $250 million.
He could wipe out her debt, look good to the Clinton supporters, and make her happy with the promise of some kind of appointment promise, AMBASSADOR to some PRIME LOCATION perhaps, upon his winning.

It's a win win situation for him to do this.
Remember..................IT'S POLITICS.
All a game.

I saw someone on Larry King suggest that Obama SHOULD help her with her debt as he if was wrong if he didn't. I'm not understanding the emotions coming out of some of these people now.

Yes he's raised a lot, but he's spent a lot as well. He probably has around 40M on hand. Hillary's staying in the race until the very has limited his fund-raising advantage over McCain.

Also, I can't see many donors coming up with that much for Hillary. Most of Obama's donors are average people who gave in $50-$100 increments. You really think those guys are going to turn that money over to Hillary? Small donors like that tend to be fiercely loyal to their preferred candidate. And a lot of the big-donor types are maxed out. Remember the DCCC, DCCC and the DNC are also out there trying to raise money. The convention needs another 15Million to meet its needs. Giving Hillary 20 million for a failed campaign would be foolish. If I were Obama, I'd hold a couple of fund-raisers for her, but that's it.

One more thing, you're crazy if you think Hillary would accept an ambassadorship. At the least, she'd want a Supreme Court appointment from Obama. Otherwise she'll stay in NY as Senator, maybe Governor.

He can't use any of the money he raised in the primary for the General.

I can kinda agree with that.

I saw someone on Larry King suggest that Obama SHOULD help her with her debt as he if was wrong if he didn't. I'm not understanding the emotions coming out of some of these people now.

This has happen many many many times before?

Oh hell naw, she far to extreme for that.

How? His voting record is to the left of her? Explain OH GREAT NEVER WRONG BLACKMAN!

Extreme how? She'd be an asset to the court.

Agree.

Extreme how? She'd be an asset to the court.

They already said she doesn't want that job because it doesn't excite her. So no Supreme Court appointment. That is not her goal apparently. She would rather stay US Senator. Since Healthcare is her deal she wants to be involved that way.... not sitting on a bench.
