Another houstonian got away & resurfaces to help give you an L.Absolutely false. Even PVAMU was in the mix last fall for the SWAC W crown for a few. smh GSU came out of nowhere as well last fall. I forgot, those same top-3 SWAC W finishers also stuck it to JSU so it stands to reason why someone of your prejudiced ilk would be salty. Also doesn't help your case because, well, you are a pom pom waving fan who doesn't know good football. lol Good luck w/ that guy.

Last year, we had one decent team (Alcorn)... 3 above average teams (GSU, ASU, SU) and the rest sucked. NOW.. we got 6-7 good teams?

He has won every where he has gone except TxSo. The only time you all won anything, you cheated. So you might want to check the infrastructure of that program to see what the problem is. ijs

Also, JSU is one of the winningest programs in the country. There were years we didn't win the title but still had 8, 9 and 10 wins...
All we do in Jackson is win.. that is why we fire coaches that others would die for.

Dude please... JSU probably has the best overall record in the conference over that time... smh Even in years like 2010 and 2011, JSU went 8-3 and 10-2. I can tell you who been SUckin.. LOL

And we totally get the trophy thing.. JSU wants the trophy. We fired Hughes and Comegy NOT becasue they were losers, but for lack of trophies. Hughes was kicking azz.. 3-2 vs SU, undefeated vs AAMU, Alcorn, etc.. but that didn't matter... He didn't win the title so he had to go. Same with Comegy.. He beat the shat out of everyone except GSU and TnState but that didn't matter.. 4 trips to the "ship" and one title... Had to go.
So we don't suck we just have high expectations... what you all need to do is get on our level!

Also, if Asberry had the last 4 years enjoyed by JSU, you all would be singing his praises..
2011 = 9-2 record, ended season ranked #21 in the nation in FCS
2012 = SCG
2013 = SCG
2014 = 5-7 record.

After reading those rankings, I think JSU is the official dark horse of the SWAC. The Tigers have the talent to compete for the SWAC title, but do they have the coach?
I can't wait to see my G-Men hit the field this season, but I will be following A&M, JSU and Valley this year as well. I am a fan of coach Spady and believe he will eliminate a significant amount of A&M's woulda coulda shoulda stories by finishing some jobs on the field. I really like JSU's roster and can see them being the best in the East of the old man has the gas to throw on their fire. I work with plenty of JSU alums on the Gulf Coast and they want to win badly. There is nothing wrong about that. Valley, who is led by one of the greatest hidden talent recruiters in the modern era, have been quite about the track stars they have added to their defense. Valley should be very excited about the type of players that they are getting right now.
