I ain't gone lie.... They got the right one when they chose JSU for the Motown 30th. That dayum "Get Ready" has always been off da chain!!! But then again...I always loved da Boom...only band that brings it consistently against the Jukes!!!

I can't lie either, I was pretty dayum proud to see the Boom show out for Mowtown. Represented black colleges well and the SWAC.
They mos def bring it against the Jukes.

I almost swallowed my tongue and "STROKED OUT" when I saw it television that year. Jsu....yall turned that isht s-t-r-a-i-g-h-t out. I was sooo proud. Seemed as if you guys were on BET every saturday during that era.

While I am more impressed OVERALL with the late 70s and 80's version of the Sonic Boom Bands....NOBODY was FUNKIER than the 90's version of the Boom in my opinion.

It's all good.
