If I could get that eye to droop further at this, I would.
It's not the guy that got appointed that Senator's have a problem with, it's the guy that did the appointment.
I'm sure they know ole boy is a good guy that was not involved with anything the Governor did.
They would reject anybody that the Governor of Illionis appoint's with the crap hanging over his head.
Would not matter if the person that got appointed was white, black, asian, man, or woman.

Roland Burris' appointment by the Governor should stand.
The Governor has not been found GUILTY of any wrongdoing and has not been impeached (yet) so why can't he make decisions and do his job?
The IL State Supreme Court refused to hear the case to remove his power of authority so clearly they think he can still perform his job until he resigns or they remove him from office.
I don't agree with Bobby Rush...but I do think Roland Burris should be allowed to take Obama's seat.
The State Dems can also kick rocks; since they wanted to keep the seat Democrat they chose to go against a special election afraid the seat would be lost to a Republican. So now...they think we should just sit here and leave the seat empty while they continue with the circus show...errr Impeachment hearings.
Until Fitzgerald steps in...this whole mess is stupid!!!

Burris isn't being pimped by anything but his greed. He doesn't care how he gets in...just as long as he does. Is he qualified...yes. If the mess with Blago and the Feds hadn't come out, he wouldn't have had a chance in heyal to get that Senate seat. So again...he's getting in any way he can.

It is a disgrace when you are so greedy that you are blind to the fact that you are being pimped! It is also a disgrace if you know you are being pimped, but your desire to have, allow you to accept being pimped to achieve your goal!
It is no secret that Blago was Tainted, so why would any person in their right mind want a post giving by Blago?
Blago was looking for a divisive issue to shake the solid opposition against Him, it is sad he could only find it in Burris. I live in Illinois, we are a broke state with an ineffective Governor, and this issue only makes matters worse. I also live in a country that is broke; this issue only causes more focus to be placed elsewhere.
That is the real Truth...sad part is ...we have allowed it to go on. So maybe it time we DO SOMETHING ABOUT..
Last...I think Burris played the wrong hand and the wrong Time...Time will tell.
