Today is our first day back at school. We've spent most of the day in 1st period. I don't have a 1st period. I've been running around like a field nigra, passing out first one thing, then another. One of the new teachers (my mentee) ran and got me a salad from Quizno's, but they forgot to put a fork in my bag.

I was so hungry, I ate my salad with a spoon. Best damned salad I've had in a minute.

One of my co-workers has already gone home sick.

DAAAAAAAMN! They're calling my name AGAAAAAAIN!! :mad:

What is y'all doin'? :D
 
Working my butt off today....it's busy around these parts. Devin looked so cute in his uniform this a.m...I haven't seen him in unis, in over a year.
 



Just out here surfing the web need to be doing something productive but I don't feel like it.
 
I'm sitting here doing some online shopping and reading emails.

Laughing at my students complain about spelling words being easy, then misspelling everything. Day 7 - 175 more to go.
 
I've been preparing for a 2 o'clock meeting all morning.

I had a relaxed lunch. :spin:

Today is slower than normal (which is a good thing).

Just got back from lunch.

So tired of talking to parents that have no idea where their kids shot records are. How long was the summer? :retard: :angry: Why do people wait until the start of school to go searching for shot records? Then they want to catch attitudes when they can't get the kids in school.
 
Registration today, so I came up to the office since I had to drop Trey off at the Lab School.

First day of classes for undergrads...I wish the Law Center was downtown somewhere or anywhere but on the BR campus. Traffic was hellish!!

Working on my fall docket, bidding on 4 items at one time on ebay...

Went to lunch, came back and jumped right on TSPN.

In between I am making phone calls for two of my Succession clients...

AMEN to that, in the meantime working on 4 BKs Chapter 7s, you know, us people just realized that Bush signed a bill, telling them that after Oct. they would have to pay their daymun bills. :lmao:
 
Still enjoying my time off. Picked my cousin from L.A. up & met the entire family for lunch. Thinking about a nap.

Searching for a plane ticket to the GSU-Seattle game and looking at the seating chart for tickets to the Seahawks/ATL Falcons game. :look:

Waiting on my last scholarship student to call me and let me know how her first day of college class went. :tup:

Revamping my to shop for list. :idea:

And every now and then, I'm answering legal questions via phone and email. ;)
 
Before getting out of bed, I received a call to come pick up my special AAMU Shirt that we will be wearing at the Tenn St game.

Since I was on Campus I paid for my Trips to Nashville and Grambling and a partial payment on the SU Trip.

Came home and called the doctor's office about an appointment; after explaining what the problem was he asked me to rush down. They fed us so much Red Beans and Rice and Jamba that my system would not digest it, therefore; I needed some help.
 
Just finished a Margarita at Boudreaux's...somehow drove up the feeder to get on I-45, ended up going East on I-610 and then South on 225. :confused:

Then got back here ...
