Have you seen the latest edition? Indeed a must read. (Very informative with great teams& bands).Sister Pam Oliver is on the cover.
I challenge you to get your copy today.

I got a copy, and although I love the magazine, there were a few errors.

For instance, they referred to Bama State as the "Bulldogs", and A&M as the "Hornets". LOL. If that wasn't enough, they posted the score of last year's Magic City Classic as A&M 35 - Bama State 0. We all know better than that.

Also, if you look at the key players returning for A&M, you'll see the name Bruce Eugene as well as two other players from Grambling.

Again, I love the magazine, but I don't know what they were drinking when they wrote some of those articles.

Good mag, although they do have errors

Okay, so BVQ isn't the "cleanest" magazine. Nevertheless, they do a good job at covering the subject. I was, however, disappointed that they did NOT cover all of the teams. In particuliar, I wanted to see some information on the new HBCU programs that were starting up. I didn't see anything on Shaw, St. Paul, St. Aug or Allen.

Also, I don't know why they didn't have a photo for Lane and Miles. Can't these schools get any respect?

Also, just once, I would like to see BVQ really cover the smaller HBCUs. The world of HBCUs extends far beyond the SWAC, MEAC, SIAC and CIAA. But that's just my opinion.

Where can I pick up a copy? A called Barnes & Noble and Borders and although both carry the magazine, they have yet to receive the summer edition.
