Haley has roots with the Steelers. His father coached the team in the 70s with those SB winning teams. Thats how you know Tomlin had NOTHING to do with Haley being hired and he sure wont have anything to do with Haley being fired. Tomlin is just a mouthpiece and a figurehead. He has nothing to do with the offense and he better not take his ass anywhere near the defense. He was grossly underqualified when he got hired but the Rooneys needed to practice what they preached. Its good he took advantage of a good situation, but as Cowherds players leave and get older the Steelers get worser and worser. They havent made the playoffs in 2 years and they aint going next year either.

Well, when Bill Cowher retired why didn't the Rooney family hire Haley since he's in good with the bloodline?
