BET's 25th Anniversary Special

Rickey Smiley said BET called him and asked if he would fly himself to NY and foot the bill for his stay because they wanted all the host of BET Comic View to be there.

WTH?

some shady sith!

I dunno this seems like it might be boring as hell. I mean it looks like the same ol new school performers that perform at every awards show (i.e. USHER); and the same old school performers they bring back to sing the same ol songs (i.e. Ron Isley, EWF). Thank God for breaths of fresh air like Alicia Keys, John Legend, Fantasia, and Kanye West.

P.S. Somebody please tell the guitarist from EWF to take out that damn weave. He looks like a rotisserie Big Bird!

Maybe it's to take the attention off that big forehead.

I was hollering when B. Brown came out... I was grinning from Ear to Ear. :D

Mr. Telephone Man there's something wrong with my line... Man I loved that song and did New Edition doing them dance moves they know they were huffin and puffin. The show was good.

Why is Steve Harvey Hosting every show now, they can't get no more host?

Great Show my 2 favorites:
Method & Mary J. Blige

and of course.....
Rrrrraaahh Kelly
That boy still has major vocals..........In his newer songs, to me he does not sing as much as he used to. Its more hip hop involved.
singing........My mind's tellin me No.......but my Body, My Body's Tellin me Yes.....Classic

I don't think Verdine White is worried about how he looks with his hair. It has been that way for years. Not to mention he is one the best bass players that ever lived.

He looks like a young "IM BAD" LL Cool J from back in the early 90s.

That L.L. was  . Then, he licked those lips. ***passed out*** ;)

I luv LL but he licked his lips so many times, he looked like a lizard. That was not hot. :licky:

What is going on w/Hammer.......mink coat + hot as hell outside= dehydration :mrt:

Funk-a-delic looked stoned

I loved R. Kelly, Gospel section, Method Man and New Edition.

I was glad to see Bobby performing, but he has totally lost his voice, so has his wife.

Overall, a decent show. :)

I loved the Method and Mary performance.

Can someone tell me when did Bow Wow become Snoops hype man?

Snoop is the sole reason why Bow Wow got his first break...hence the similarities in their names. :swink:

True, Jermaine Dupree brought him out and did his early albums...but I think it had a lot more to do with image (Snoop was still on Death Row) and the safety of an impressionable little boy. :)

Oh, I I didn't even she the Anniversary Special yet....:uhoh:

...but I DID stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night!!!:tup:

Dude, it was a joke. I work in the music industry, I know the whole story. It has nothing to do with Death Row.
