So do you really believe that The FCS schools aren't using creative accounting when they host these games? Let's be real, they making money and coming out on top somehow..
But this is about coastal vs cookman.. What's your predicted score
The NCAA takes its money off top. Plus, you're talking a few thousand dollars (FCS) vs millions (BCS). No way BCU is going to make money on this game, and they don't care. I read where CCU bid $70k+ on this game. That means BCU bid around that much or higher. They'll probably draw 5k for the game.

How can you sit here in say that they want make Money and that only 5k will come? No they want make millions but they will make something, it might be parking, Hotel Deals, consessions, tshirts, service fess, etc.. they will make money... and when you look at the fact that they are ranked playing good Ball fans will show up.
If and only if they were to win the SWAC and the SWAC has automatic bids. Coastal Carolina has a 7-4 record.

I can't agree. Regardless there's no way on earth i'd be more excited to see Coastal/BCU play ODU than watching the national championship game lol. The attendance of the FCS playoffs tends to agree.
Have you seen their attendance? They got 10K for homecoming, and around 5-6K for every other home game after that. The NCAA takes 80% of NET (after expenses) proceeds from mechandise sales at playoff games.

That was the beginning of the end for the SWAC and playoffs. We did it to ourselves. You can get in with a 8 win record. You have to be somewhere near the top 18 with a good OOC schedule and a win or 2. We used to get in with 8 wins. But during those days, we also played the likes of SFA, Northwestern LA, Nichols, Sam Houston, Troy, and Tennessee St as our OOC teams. All playoff eligiable teams. :lol:
The SWAC is done with getting a bid to the playoffs. It just ain't gonna happen. The best 2 teams are confined to playing in that rematch games called the SCG. A 3rd place SWAC team damm sure not gonna get a bid. :lol:

If we was marching with King and others back in the Day we would still be drinking at colored only fountains... cause we would have given up after being hit with those water hoses and dogs a few times.
Bottom Line is you cant put a price on "Pride" its kinda like the Visa commercial back in the day.. Host a Playoff Game 70k, Winning a Playoff Game, Priceless!!! winnig 2 or More the it becomes priceless for All HBCUs...

Last year we went to the playoffs was in '97 at Western Illinois. Lost 31-24 (blew 24-14 4th quarter lead). Don't know about the number of buses. In '96 we went to William & Mary, and it sure as hell wasn't no 10 buses there.

History has proven over and over again, HBCU's fail to make it out of the first round, unless they are playing another HBCU as in the case of A&T vs TN State. The only exception was FAMU, then I could be wrong.
The prblem is HBCU's are out coached, the players are out of shape and our coaches "panic" when they get behind often change their game plan.
BC players were huffing and puffing at the end of the third against TN State. If they are out of shape the game maybe over mid-way fourth qtr.
