A&T vs BCC

this game is on ESPN2 now since the high school game was postponed to weather... originally was on ESPNU.
 



70-7 with 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter. How in the HELL do you let another divisional team beat you like that..ON NATIONAL TV for that matter. This is sad. Shouldnt there be a running clock or something? lol

The sad part is BCC put the third string in halfway through the third. That so sad *ish.:shame: :shame: :shame:

New coach, Charlie and J stated that several players dipped when the new coaching staff was put in place. Poor recruting. It will take a while for them to return. Especially with this shalacking on National Televison.:tdown:

Some sorry arse negro from Grambling State is at the Helm. Thats why we suck!!! Should've hired a MEAC grad. We hired a SWAC coach and he brought the stank to our program.

First of all he isn't a SWAC coach. Second, the program lacked potential whne he took the job. Third, Coach Fobbs is a helluva motivator and recruiter. Fourthly, when A&T starts winning, I'm sure you will be one of the main ones hanging on Fobbs nuts saying i always knew he would turn things around..... Yawl should be thankful, because where he is from and where he has been, A&T was a major step down for him..... What is A&T's overall record the last 4 years?
 
In defense of Fobbs, it was mentioned that they lost around 25 seniors from last year and only have 5 seniors on this year's team. The problem seems to be a lack of talent. Guys were in position to make plays (meaning the coaches had them aligned properly and schemed well) but they just didn't execute.

True, the jury is still out on Coach Fobbs because he has no prior head coaching experience...but dude is a good coach and a Class guy. Trust me, he will build the program the right way and folks will be please with his interpersonal skills. Your alumni will relate well to him... allow him a chance to recruit that Eastern Seaboard and also take advantage of some of his Deep South/Texas connections.
 
A&T has freshmen and sophomores at nearly every key position. Their defensive and offensive lines are weak because they have young guys who need work in the weightroom. They get pushed around. But BC is not 63 points better than them. A&T just gave up after making several mistakes that let the game get out of hand. Two more years in the weightroom for their freshmen and sophomores and some transfers at key positions and they will be just fine. But Fobbs can't let his team give up like they did last night.

Now that I can agree upon...one of the concerns that some GSU fans had concerning Fobbs was his nice-guy personality. Young athletes (people in general) have to know that there can be "Consequences and Repercussions" when you don't produce!

Man, fobbs is a nice, classy guy, but on the field and in the weightroom business is business..... He is fair, honest, will do things by the book, preach hard work, and won't cheat in any shape, form, or fashion (Nice-guy personality). This isn't Fobbs' team, but all of BCF will know when Lee Fobbs puts his stamp on NCA&T......
 
I certainly hope you are right. We can not afford to have A&T play this bad. It affects everybody involved. I pray for resurgence to happen quickly.

Just woke up and the game is on now. They need some defense. Plus, they don't have a senior in the starting line up on offense, and very few juniors.... These kids will have to learn how to win. Doug'd first year at Grambling wasn't a winning season either, but look how he ended up

Did I see a somebody post 0-8 (Under Fobbs) like that was some good shizza. Man please, we need to fire his behind like PWCs, before next week!!!! Let the trainer, cheerleading coach, or the band director go on and finish out the year. Fobbs must be a nice classy guy and he has our team playing like it. Yeah, he is real nice, passing booty out like that the other night. He got us playing like some hizzoes, just like a SWAC team!!!!!!!
