BET Awards

I am so far out of touch with rap it is unreal. I was on the phone last night with my nephew he is 18 and he was asking me about TI. I said who is the hell is TI? Another cat I dont know much about I dont he's a rapper but Chris Brown man I dont know these cats now. Damn I am getting real old.

Overall, I thought the show was very exciting...I enjoyed all the performances, w/the exception of Keishia Coles, of course. Imma have a good time :lmao: @ her, this w/e.

Keyshia sounded out of breath.

Well since you are musician you know what that was about. She probally has incorrect breathing technique. Breathing in all the wrong spots in the song. Or she probally was nervous as hell.

Singing while WORKING OUT would help that. I don't how long that aisle was she walked down, but she was out of breath by the time she walked up the stairs to the stage. She tried to hide it, but I could still tell.

Right near the end of the song...she had to take a long pause between verses. They really clown her on 104.5 out here in Dallas. She sucks. But she's no better than the rest of these R&B divas out today.

Speaking of R&B divas...I'm really digging Letoya Luckett's new song. I wish her the best with her career. I'm impressed.

 Yeah, I saw her shaking hands and pausing/pointing into the audience to compensate for her breathlessness.

I hope they do not call Damon Wayans back.

He was so lackluster last night.

I was thinking the same thing myself. I knew Shawn and Marlon should have been hosting it instead of him. I gotta see the rerun and see what everybody is talking when it comes to Keshia Cole.

Yeah, that Keshia Cole girl really ain't about nothin. She does get beat up pretty bad here in Dallas. Her career span may be kinda like Ashanti's....start off big....then just dwindle down.

Forget Keyshia

Beyonce' is the lick! YES, I am a fan!

I know Keyshia ain't moving units as fast as Ashanti did. Shewww, Ashanti was 2 million platinum within 2 months of being on the market with her debut. It took her till December of 2002 to reach 3 million. Keyshia came out in October 05. She was 1 million platinum in February of this year.

All I gotta say is.......

PRINCE and STEVIE performing on the same stage together!!!!!

The last multi-talent legends left in contemporary music. You'll never see that again. That was historic.

India Aire, Stevie and Prince performing "Tell Me Something Good" was classic as well.

All of the performances were bad until Busta and the Gospel singers performed.

Then the Oldies came out and rocked the joint.

Everybody else was just lackluster
