I have watched that video clip maybe 15 times over the years (and again today) and I still don't get it.
SU is normally a paragon of excellence. On that particular day, the Jukebox chose to display a lack of class and dignity. Other than that display, what else is there to the clip?

It's like going to rotten.com and watching gross, nasty tatseless videos of dead people and stuff..... You know it's wrong..... BUT, still entertaining.
They need to put the Drum Majors back behind the J-Settes during the stadium entrance, like they were in the 70’s and 80’s. The Drum Majors exaggerate the entrance (too much going on).

I'm sure breakdancing started out as a fun, normal way of having fun and passing the time..... Just as marching band began as a way of supporting the team, and displaying musical talent. But, one day, while break dancing, Bugaloo Shrimp started ticking and pop-locking and "ripped someone's heart out", and showed it pulsing in his hand. Negroes always take some isht to another level. I'm in Germany, and all Europeans will tell you that Americans, ESPECIALLY black folks, are so EXTRA.
We like to embarass each other. It's all about the shine!!!!! Horrible way to be, but if you sit back and think of it, that's just the way we are.

From the history I know of Doc.. I don't see where he would have had the time to serve in the military... He entered college at 16 graduated at 19 and began teach soon after along with gigging in his Jazz band.. If I had to guess I would say he didn't serve in the military..

How bout you start with respecting bands at 'what THEY do, and do well', first.

No matter what football game I attend, I love seeing the bands march into the stadium. I feel like I missed the whole game if I don't see it.

Gotta love that mentality...we used to have this same mentality in the piney hills of Grambling back in my day; however, that concept seems to be lost during the years. Hopefully a change will come.
