BCU Fall 2021 Football Schedule

This board loves overly boastful fans who are braggadocious before the season starts only to spend time with the wife and kids after a 2-4 win season. Keep that same energy all the way through 2021

It's very well possible BCU could start the season 0-4 or 0-5 (FBS teams are guaranteed Ls. Alcorn is probably a L).

Again you struggled with a one win team that held you to 22 points in 2019 (and save that "we were resting starters" nonsense for someone who wants to hear it). I'm not a super stats nerd but if a team with a defensive minded HC like Valley can do that to you, imagine how the established teams like Southern, Alcorn and Grambling with solid defenses will do. AAMU and JSU could be improved defensively in the fall as well

They are gonna be in for a rude awakening if they think that those 24-21 shoot outs with Norfolk or NCCU are gonna work in the SWAC.

The meac had alot of parity amongst the schools. NCCU somehow could not finish BCU off and Norfolk offense was low key lethal, they just didn't have a defense.

In either situation, BCU found ways to win.Those games are no different than our shootout with Grambling in 2015, the comeback vs Bama state in 12, the wins over Valley in 18 and 19, or the 2019 JSU game.

Point blank worry abouy amother squad being able to play in the SWAC.

I believe unless you're on the inside and actually know the SWAC landscape, it's hard for an outsider to understand the parity in the SWAC and have a good read. When you have a Grambling, Alcorn, Alabama A&M, PV (4), you're talking about a very small separation in talent. If you add two FBS teams (6) to that schedule a JSU (7) team that just inked one of the best signing classes with transfers in FCS history and a traditional rival (FAMU 8) that is overdue for a win, you have a serious challenge on your hand. I think that since we're not involved subjectively (being a BCU fan or foe), we can objectively make that assessment. We'll just have to see though......LMAO

As I said before, yall can easily catch 5-6 Ls comng to the SWAC with that offense because you need a decently accurate QB to win in this conference. If you have someone similar to Williams, you can book Ls against Alcorn and AAMU if Glass comes back in the fall. You will struggle against ASU, Grambling, Valley and even JSU simply off defense

If if was a fifth...you drink? 😆 Naw mane. Honestly, I don't know what we got since this Covid stuff. I agree with you on a few points. I don't like some of our tendencies on both offense and defense.

Our coaches have SWAC backgrounds if that's what you also mean. Side note: Check out BCU's schedule for the past 10 to 12 years. We've already infiltrated the SWAC. We know Maynor, Hill-Ely, Odums....JSU, Valley, etc. Plus, there is consistency with our coaching staff. No huge turnovers since Jenks era. As a matter of fact, about 70% are still there.

That game only shows BCU not really being all the way into a game and still winning. It's nothing to brag about either way you look at it and that goes for 18 and 19.

BCU looks down at FAMU, WOW, we won 9 games last year and lost again to BCU. BCU looks at their terrible record but think they are the champs because they beat FAMU. The stomping is coming and they know it. We are still the big brother in the state of Florida.

Why would you want to heap dishonor upon those two fine Texas and Mississippi universities? Their fortunes in football may not have been good of late, but you never really know when your turn will come. Besides, BCU has played football at only about the .650 clip the last 4 years in the MEAC, and the MEAC has not been as good as SWAC from top to bottom during that time frame. The Howard's, the Norfolk's, the Morgan's, the NCCU's would have performed dismally in SWAC football the last 4 years. You will find in SWAC a true dogfight week end and week out and from start to finish.
