Who in the hell are you? Dude i won't waste my time proving nothing to you or anyone else on this site that Grambling isn't in their best interest. Not my style, not my duty. Love that you care so much though but while you're worrying about how Grambling sounds you need to seriously worry about the drilling that your band exhibits but am i requesting clips of them? HELL NO, because i truly don't give a damn. Not my problem. Glad you're focusing on Grambling though, means we're still in the equation. Please don't throw stones in a glass house unless your band is clicking on all cylinders. Thank you all for you genuine concern.:read:
Dude you sound like a dude that sucked at everything your entire life.. and now you are at the point to where you ain't going to even TRY... so anybody that comment on your SUCKassness you ready to pitch a fit...
What happen to the attitude.....let me get better so I can talk shyt to that same MOFO?!?!?!
And honestly I am surprised as hell someone from SU is even siding with you on this BS...
Had I had that SAME attitude in middle school I would not have even had the NERVE to go to SU...
Since back then only folk from New Orleans even thought about going to SU were folk the CITY knew would represent to the fullest...
Son,
I went from the LAST trumpet player my 6th grade year of 36 trumpets to ASST. section leader my 7th grade year.
You know WHY?!?!?!
Because my 6th grade year I SUCKED!!! I heard about it everyday all day from my peers.. I was just happy to have a uniform andsay I marched in Parades for mardi Gras....
the Straw that broke the back for me to GET BETTER was when a new comer ..beginner came to the band and everyone in the trumpet section told dude...
"Just go sit in front of him".. referring to me....
That's when I was like WTF?!?!?
That summer, I took private lessons.. practiced in my parents shed till 3 in the a.m. cracking up a storm until eventually my moms started coming to the door and saying..."Hey son, play that again... I liked that"...
I ain't know how good I got until auditions for the very next .. I sat quietly with my horn in my case in the LAST chair... listening to all the other folk who clowned my play... I remember thinking .. "Damn, these the same dudes said that said I sucked?!?!"....
None of them heard me play until AFTER auditions... After I slide ALL the way to the 2nd chair of the entire section and the band director basically said I would have been section leader but he gave to soemone who was an 8th grader because of leadership (he ended up at SU a year before me..).. the ENTIRE band was in awww..
but when I played they all we like.. OMG!!! Then everyone wanted me in their company....lol
Some of you on here seem to not know much about coming back facing adversity...
Again if you and a few other thought GSU sounded great...
More power to yall...
And it ain't no usual culprits... when EVERYONE in here is saying the same thing...
Hell I even told my people I "heard" GSU was suppose to be nice this year.... But when yall marched in yall made me look like a damn fool.. SO how is that for politicking?
