I tried to stay peaceful... but damn them GSU arrangements my lawd.... Just don't make no sense for a college to sound like that...smdh..
 
Typical SU mentality if you don't arrange for power and play wide open 99% of the time it's not right. It's all about preference and i guarantee while you try to bash GSU others gave major props so keep up the hate bruh, it's needed for the balance. GSU plays balanced and won't sell their souls to keep up with SU in the power department. smdh Glad you finally spoke once i posted the clips because i'm sure you already looked at some and was there also but you finally decided to say something. Yeah Right. lmao

Well let SU do SU, and allow GSU to do GSU. Yall don't dictate to GSU, never have, never will so why waste the hot air? I guess yall love to see the black and white on the scream and confusion. That's how most jags are anyway. rotfl. Why yall worried about GSU yall need to worry about the rep of SU's band and talk to those students within the program. Black people tend to worry and criticize on things they have no control of of have any ties with. smh

Middle schoolish? lmao I know i won't go back in forth. When you are accustomed to a certain playing style going to SU and growing up in New Orleans i will not waste my time on ignorance and close mindedness.

Son I was at the BOTB.... I let the younger folk around me boo and cuss GSU band out for them sorry tones and sounds... I'm too old for all that.. all I did was just shake my damn head....

Call it hate all you want... Them arrangements ain't whats up... GSU band actually sound like they have "CAPABLE" players all through out the band... them arrangements are setting them kids back.. it have them sounding like a middle school...

This ain't smack but truth... I couldn't say GSU sound like a high school because most high schools are attempting to play college arrangements...

Im speaking on MY musical knowledge... has ZERO to do with what SU is doing... I don't want GSU to sound like SU...

Once you filter that into your head you will see I am speaking on nothing but them "ARRANGEMENTS"... it has nothing to do with SU...damn son...
 



It's all about preference. If you're not pushing money in GSU's Band program your opinion and criticism is definitely mute, i suggest you focus on your own. The black race doesn't do that much at all. Musically, I think it's more about interpretation than arrangements but that's me and that's why i say it's all about preference. Outee.......

Dude tried to blame the camera angles on that terrible sounding shit in that thread i made. Like i said GSU got some good potential but them sounds i heard coming thru the TV sounds like a cat dying.

I've notice they're two schools that are always worrying about someone else. J State can't drill to save their lives, changed their entire sound to get validation from SU and you worrying about Grambling. Many of your priorities are totally out of place. smh

Well i for one was pleased with the improvements the World Famed have made from 09. They played balanced and with control and didn't get outside of their element. Great song selection also, well loved R&B tunes, if they continue the improvements i see nothing but up for the band. Not going to go crazy over band though. WOW!!!
