Would you feel the same way if they added a DJ from N LA who was screaming crazy shit in the mic about SU? That isn't need on the P.A. If a band is getting clowned, the crowd will let them know. We don't need Bozo the Clown cooning on the mic.

A DJ from N.LA could come and say the same thing, but he would look and sound really foolish to the peps in the stands who would actually be sitting there seeing what is really happening.....Kinda like your man does now when he says "it's a tie"...or "this is the tiebreaker" :lol:......Doesn't it have to be at lease close to be a tie or to even have a tiebreaker.....that guy tries to force the folks to enjoy that mess that Gram is doing....

You just saying that because what the dude was saying was true, but the guy announcing for Grambling said things just as well but we all know it wasn't true and that's why we're not focusing on what he said. That cat isn't in the band or work for either school. He has his a opinion and I think that's why they put him in that position. I think they tried to let the non biased announcers do the Battle of Bands and I think people got tired of that. This was done to liven things up, besides the same guy that's announcing been doing it for a couple of years now and he's said pretty much said the same thing every year. It just really hurts this year because Grambling's band is down, but don't blame the guy for saying what he heard or saw blame the directors for allowing the band to look that way. I call this misdirected anger lol.

Marquis was in the Jukebox back in '89-93. Tenor Drummer, crab name Hammer. And he started that about 5 years ago when Gram's announcer kept saying "Gsu got that one", etc. Marquis was like, "hold up man. this guy can't be serious..." and the crowd gave him a standing ovation, and he's been doing his commentary ever since then.

I normally don't post on these threads, I just enjoy reading what others have to say but in this case, if anyone thinks that this battle was even close is just plain DELUSIONAL!!!!!!:retard: SU obviously had the crowd, sound & better arrangements. I only hate I wasn't there in person to really hear it.
