Basketball Fantasy: Who would you like to play?

Forget about the standings and pairings under our current format. If you could do a write-in vote to chose the conference team that you would like to play for the right to go to Birmingham, who would that team be? Let's also imagine that the game would be played at your arena on a Saturday Nite! Who would you want to play.

Please don't just vote===> give a reason why. If you want to incorporate some smack that's find. If you just want to give a straight answer that's cool too!

For me, it would have to be the Jaguars! Nothing gives a Gramblinite greater pleasure than sticking it to our high yella cousins with the funny sounding names. My second choice would be the Braves...I just like the way Whitney teams play. Plus their fans are just sick when they lose (as if I've witnessed that in the past)

I would pick Alcorn.. simply because I would like to play the number 1 seed at home. If I cant beat the top team at home I wouldnt deserve to play the rest of the tournament. Like my pops use to tell me. If you about to get jumped, pick the biggest one and go after him. Alcorn is the top seed, I would rather go head on with the top seed first.

No, I feel we will make the tourney. But if not, phugg it! We are on a rebuilding mission at GSU and we are pretty much on schedule. This is the 3rd year under Wright...we see improvement!
