Baseball - 4/21 - 4/22





Not only should they cut down on teams in the baseball trny, they should cut down on the teams in the basketball trny also. Just invite the top 6 teams, give the two top seeds a day off then have a semi final and a final.

For instance, this year SU and A&M had on business in the trny on the mens side. These teams dont have a chance to win and even if they do, you dont want them to represent your conference in the trny.

On top of that, nobody is there to watch those games and it only cost the SWAC another day of expenses.

The SWAC needs to look into some of these cost cutting measures.

if we could all just get along.....:emlaugh:

sad thing is (i think) the baseball tourney may have as many fans as the basketball tourney. last year the weather affected the games and the flow. but the saturday games were well attended.

I know SU baseball team has out drawn the SU basketball team if you take away the Gram game.

Exactly...its always the folks that aint nowhere around the trny that want every team in the trny. You aint spending no money to help foot the bill, but you want every team there. Money talks....you know what runs a marathon.

You know who SU had in that lineup lol. I would rather the best playing the best so we can get the best team in the regionals.
 
post all the scores...not just su's. txsu then is similar txsu now. many runs were scored in each txsu game.

i still think the tourney needs 8 teams.

When you can't compete in other major sports, divert back to Fall football.:emlaugh:
How many home games this year? Two or three? I mean yall folks wait the WHOLE year just to play three home games, then just like that.....it's all over. Nothing else to look forward to until the next Fall. That's gotta be hard to bear, it's gotta be and it's so, so sad.:shame:

If I'm correct, we ran through yall in '07, so it's not like you have won seven straight titles.
