Jones was AAMU's 2nd winningest coach in our history, 2nd only to the namesake of the stadium. Eventually you have to cut bait.

Alabama State: Head coach Reggie Barlow has received a new contract and raise (from $140,400 to $172,420) taking him through December 31, 2017. Barlow is 46-41 in his eight seasons at ASU

Alabama St. has had as much talent as any team in the SWAC and no title to show for it! Barlow just might be gone after this year!

In reality, Bama State's getting a good deal by keeping Barlow. He seems to be one of the lowest paid coaches in the SWAC but usually keeps Bama State in second or third in the East. I guess they're satisfied with second or third place finishes.

Dude, that bottom feeding program at AAMU who consistently loses to JSU is no comparison. You can discount wins and losses if that helps you feel better but head to head, JSU has defeated AAMU six of seven years. 6-1 in seven years. No wonder you're so happy you FINALLY got a win. Enjoy it while you can cause we all know it won't last.
