Barber/Hairdresser Etiquette...Is there such?

AAMU all day every day!
Isn't it our own choice where and how we spend our money to get our hair done just like clothes...just like food...just like...everything else in life that you choose to buy with your money? If you're not satisfied or if you just like something else better? What do you do?

If you like the way someone cutz, stylez or does hair in general do you think it is wrong to go to them, even if they are in the same shop?


Please advise.

It's your hair....right?


By all means go to who you wanna, I know I would (if I hurt someone's feelings, they'll get over it)
 



It's your money and if you find someone else in the same shop that does a better job, then switch. Yes, your orignal stylist/barber may get their feelings hurt, but they'll get over it.
 
That's a touchy subject. If Dude A cuts my hair...but I want to let Dude B cut my hair and they're in the same shop...Dude A may get salty because I took my business to Dude B. I would rather find Dude C in another shop.

Ummmm this is a delimma...:idea: Are they in the same area of the shop? Have you been going to this sylist for a longtime?
 
No, but even if I had...I don't see what difference it should make.
It's my money...my hair.

If I were a stylist/barber I wouldn't care either way. People like certain things. One may be good @ one thing, someone else may specialize or be better @ another.

True dat.... I thought maybe you were having a prob. switching or worried about hurting your Stylist feelings...
 
I believe it has been established...it's your money and your hair! What etiquette? That you have to be miserable with your hair just because your original barber/hair stylist may get their feelings hurt...well they don't need to be in business if that occurs. If loosing one head will put them out of business then it's time for them to choose another career.

What's the worst they could do?...put Nair in your shampoo bottle when no one is looking?
