BAMA STATE BAND COMES ON IN THE MIDDLE OF TU SHOW

Ok. Tuskegee was on the field for 14:00 when Dr. Oliver (Bama State Head Director) told the drum majors to blow it up. Here comes 16 drum majors on the field (4 current and 12 alumni). Tuskegee was in the middle of their dance routine. They did a drill, a dance girl song, a ballard (whole song), and a dance routiine.

Now I know they practiced and timed the show so they know how long the show is. So tell me what the deal really was?
 
LOL....AlaSU boguarded TU off the field in the middle of their show? And NO kind of altercation occurred!?

That was the first HBCU fb game I ever watched where they did not show any of the halftime...so when they showed excerpts of what happened later on in the game, I was like wooo......anyways...I can't wait for somebody to give the lowdown too...:popcorn:
 
For a visiting band to have a performance to run THAT long, KNOWING that another band has to perform right after them is just wrong. I don't blame AlaSU for stepping on the field the way they did. I'm just glad this didn't get ugly. And I bet TU better not have anything funky to say about it.

I'm sure they time their shows, so they KNEW what they were doing. I sense a fine in TU's near future.

Tuskegee's Band Director knew better and signaled for them to come off the field. With the numbers that the MMH has, it would've gotten ugly for TU
 
Ah mane...@ 43 secs...Bama State folks had to have had a rush...I don't blame them either...they did what they had to do...


but seriously...I'm glad nothing ugly happened...nobody broke out into a fight..throwing trombones and what not...lol
 
AND IF YOU NOTICE SKEGEE STARTED BLOWING "NECK" WHILE BAMA STATE WAS ON THE FIELD. NOW THAT'S THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL DISRESPECTFUL!!!
 
If it was MY homecoming... Tuskegee band wouldnt even perform a halftime show next year for that bs..... then they playing Neck while Bama State is still on the field doing a dance routine. TU band director a hoe for that one.
 
If I was Tuskegee's band, I would have stayed my azz on the field and made them mofos march around me.

Shiiiid, If I Tuskegee band director as soon as we made it back to the stands I would have started blowing.
 
LOL TU tried to own ASU at ASU homecoming, and gets ran off off the field. TU mad now...

ASU should have marched on sooner!!!!!
 
I was one of the DM marching. It was 7:42 when we took the field. Truth be told, we shouldn't have waited that long.....


Just so yall know, they were on the field 13+ minutes. The allotted times for each band was discussed days ahead. Not to mention it was our homecoming. Any well respected program would have done the same thing.

So if the Sounds of Dynamite was standing on the sidelines waiting to go on to the field, and the time was running down; what would you have wanted them to do as a fan waiting to see them? Granted if you are on the field after 0:00 you can/will be fined.

See, this is the stupid azz mentality of some black folks. How in the hell did they handle it in a mature way when they marched on to the field when another band is performing? TU handled it in a mature manor. Bama State handled it like some ghetto azz mofos. I guess that is what they mean when folks say Bamas being Bamas.

As fan and alumni I want them to act like some mature young adults that repesent our university and not like a bunch of dumb azz thugs. Wait on the sideline until the other band gets finish. I don't care if the other band is running long, wait your damn turn. If you might face a fine becuase you are on the field at 0:00, point out the other band playing to long to the powers that be.

That sounds good from where we are sitting but is that what would really happen? TU did not handle the situation maturely either. The time that a band is on the field was agreed upon before the game so they were well aware of the extra time they were taking up. They did not care. ASU did what would satisfy their fans, and that was to proceed with their show. Unfortuantely, it had to happen that way. I do believe that TU should have exited the field immediately especially given that their band director had instructed them to exit. Also, playing in the stands while the band is on the field is not a sign of maturity.
